It is in the National Register of Historic places, King William Historic District, San Antonio, Texas, as an exceptional City Historic Landmark. The house was built in 1886 by Albert Beckmann for his bride, Marie Dorothea, daughter of the Guenther Flour Mill family, on the mill grounds.
