The front desk staff was nice enough, but once we got to the room, we found hairs in the sink and on the sheets. There was a small bug crawling on one of the pillows and the room looked like it hadn't been swept in a long time. If it hadn't have been so late and we weren't so tired, we would have found somewhere else to stay. Especially, for how not so safe the area was and for the poor standards of the room.
Positives: The only good thing was the friendliness of the front desk staff.
Negatives: Rooms weren't clean and didn't feel safe in the area.

The room was a typical hotel room with two full beds. It was clean. The staff was polite and helpful.
Positives: The beds were very comfortable. I like parking in front of my room.
Negatives: Bathroom was very small.

We will not stay in LaQuinta's in the future. Our last two experiences with LaQuinta have been at older, ill-maintained motels. I have absolutely no faith in this chain anymore and will not stay with them in the future.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Everything.

There were bugs under the bed and the room wasn't very clean, The beds were really old and<BR/>I felt uncomfortable sleeping in them. This hotel should not be more than 50 dollars a night. the only good thing is that they allow pets.
Positives: The hotel location.
Negatives: The room was dirty and there were bugs under the bed.

The first room was dirty, wet towels, trash, awful. The second room had not been cleaned either, the sheets were dirty. There were roaches crawling in the bathroom. We did not stay at all. The desk clerk was rude and very unhelpful.
Positives: I liked nothing about this hotel.
Negatives: The staff was rude and the rooms dirty.

Expensive but understandable in light of all the oil worker traffic and the distance from civilization.
Positives: The room was comfortable and the in room coffee maker worked.
Negatives: Was given a smoking room, but it was tolerable.

About the only decent attribute about this hotel is its location to the Midland airport. It has no high speed internet connection in the rooms. Access to 2nd floor rooms is terrible with few stairs and no elevators so be ready for a long walk with your luggage from the parking lot. Cleanliness was average, decor below average. Good for solo business travelers - that's about it.
Positives: Proximity to airport.
Negatives: Accessibility to 2nd floor.

Overall, an excellent 2-star hotel.
Positives: Check-in was very fast and easy.
Negatives: Bathroom was a little run-down, but not too bad.

This hotel looked decent from the outside. However, once we entered the room we were in for a surprise. The first bed was against the window. There was no walk room on each side of it. The floor hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom toilet was against the tub actually touching and everything in the bathroom was covered in rust. I have a 10 month old, and I couldn't give my child a bath it was so disgusting. The tub floor was rusty completely.
Positives: Nothing!
Negatives: Everything!

The hotel is older and needs to be updated. They had limited number of larger beds (queen, king, etc.). There was no refrigerator.
Positives: It wasn't crowded.
Negatives: The bathroom was creepy.

I am not fond of exterior entrances, but this hotel is a way back from the expressway and that helps a lot. It was clean, quiet with nice furnishings and a friendly staff.
Positives: Convenient location, free high speed internet.
Negatives: Power went out at very end of pay per view movie.

This hotel was clean and generally comfortable. However, there were quite a few noisy inhabitants who came in very late.
Positives: There was plenty of parking, bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Towels were threadbare, no frig in room.

Very nice hotel, over priced, clean, staff courteous and helpful.
Positives: Outward appearance very elegant, lobby beautiful.
Negatives: Noisiness of other guest, hanging outside of their room.

The hotel was two stories & our room was on the first floor & we had a few black beetles come into the room. As stated earlier the mattresses were too firm. There were two beds in the room & one of the two was a little bearable. We didnt ask for another room as our stay was a short one.
Positives: The location was convenient.
Negatives: The mattresses were too firm causing lower back pain.

The continental breakfast could improve, space was limited to sit down and eat, and more fruit can be added to the menu.
Positives: The location.
Negatives: The continental breakfast needs more fruit.

We had a wedding present left for us at the front desk. All 3 desk clerks said they say it, but no one knew where it was. But you could tell they were lying. Also when I got there the front desk told me I would have to pay extra $10 for my room.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Not a nice place.
