Great hotel that put big $ in the lobby, not rooms. Staff are not trained or trained wrong. No way...run. They treated me badly because I paid Priceline rate.....first time ever. Go anywhere else!
Positives: Pretty lobby.

We had a great stay here. The people were friendly, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Yes, everything cost more, but you could choose to utilize the services or not. Parking was $28/night valet and $18/night (plus tax) and the parking garage was convenient and safe. Free shuttle to downtown area, including Minute Maid Park, but be aware that it only runs until 11 PM.
Positives: Front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. Great location. Very clean.
Negatives: Expensive parking and amenities.

The hotel is the nicest Hilton I've ever stayed in. The staff is excellent, though it would have been nice to have another option from the crowded, loud lobby bar for a late night cocktail in a quieter setting.
Positives: Spectacular lobby, pool area is gorgeous also.
Negatives: Had two double beds, wanted one king; also was told the courtesy bus would pick us up after the opera - it didn't come get us!
