I went to Houston with my granddaughter to bring her to the zoo and aquarium!! The location was perfect it was extremely clean, and the staff was great! The rooms are large and the view was breathtaking! I felt very safe as I arrived rather late the staff was out waiting to assist you and a bell man went up 26 floors with us. Thanks for such a wonderful trip!
Positives: Clean, great location, and the staff was terrific! I will stay here again!
Negatives: Nothing, everything was great.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The public areas were very clean and well kept. The room was as clean as any I have seen-I used to work in hotels across the country and have seen literally thousands of rooms-so this means a lot. The pool had a lot of chlorine, but that is to be expected of a public pool for obvious reasons. I have nothing, but good things to say about my stay.
Positives: Extremely cleaned and well maintained.
Negatives: The pool was over chlorinated.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has lots of amenities that one would normally have to travel off site to obtain.
Positives: Loved the architecture!
Negatives: It's downtown location is confusing and difficult to access freeways if you get lost.

Very nice, upscale, slightly on the boring side.
Positives: Upscale, clean, and newly furnished.
Negatives: Healthy walk to restaurant hubs.

The Hyatt Regency was very nice. The room was extremely comfortable. I was disappointed in the size and type of bathtub and the lack of children television channels, but everything else was wonderful.
Positives: The room was very nice. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Negatives: It needs more children television channels, like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc.

It is a hotel with a dreary atrium that needs art hanging from the ceiling. The rooms are great, roomy and smartly and comfortably furnished with good views .
Positives: The room decor was very nice.
Negatives: Had cheap, rough Kleenexes.

Very nice hotel. Lives up to Hyatt name. Room was a little dark because of small window in a high-rise hotel surrounded by other high-rise buildings.
Positives: Good location. Clean. Nicely appointed rooms.
Negatives: Room was not very quiet. Noise from atrium bar filtered in. Heard snoring from next door.

Was traveling with my terminally ill sister to a M.D. appt. Everyone treated us like royalty, even though my sister does not "look sick". Van driver, concierge, bellboys, front desk personnel, and valet parkers were great, and the rooms were super nice with really comfortable beds.
Positives: The staff was welcoming and so attentive. Very service oriented.
Negatives: Sold Pepsi products instead of Coke.

Excellent location in downtown Houston which has become a very "hip'' place to stay with many restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms were generous in size and comfortable with 32 inch flat screen TVs. It is a very large 800 room hotel with an attractive lobby bar. The hotel has Don Shula's Steakhouse in the lobby, but no separate casual restaurant although you could order sandwiches at the lobby bar. They served breakfast in the steakhouse. The staff was very accommodating and filled my request for a King bed. I would definitely stay here again.
Positives: Room was very comfortable and quiet.
Negatives: Lacked a casual dining restaurant.

Elegant business hotel in downtown Houston. Smaller than average-sized but well-appointed rooms, all overlooking expansive 30-story atrium. Fantastic staff.
Positives: Convenient location, great staff.
Negatives: Gym is small, though well-stocked in the space available.

I have stayed in Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and almost all the other four star and up hotels. This was the first time in a Hyatt and unlike all the other hotel groups Hyatt would not give me reward points for my stay. I will not stay at Hyatt again. I had no hot water the first night and no housekeeping the second night. The food at the bar was slow in coming and ice cold when delivered.
Positives: The valets were very nice and helpful.
Negatives: Bad food, bad bed, no hot water, no Hyatt point credit, poor location.

Upscale, modern, definitely worth every penny. I had a great experience in this hotel stay - everything was tastefully decorated. An oasis in downtown Houston - near theatre district.
Positives: Very modern decor, excellent hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.
Negatives: Navigating in downtown Houston can be a bit tricky.

I was very impressed with the quality of appointments, and with the service. The detective and the doorman combined to send out bulletins to city taxi companies to find and return a purse of my daughter left in a taxi, with credit cards and money intact!
Positives: Very attractive, quiet, flat screens, great service (bartender went to the kitchen to make hot chocolate for my daughter after room service closed.
Negatives: I liked everything.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The room and hotel were immaculate and beautiful. The staff all were very nice from the valet guys, to the front desk staff, to the housekeeping employees, to room service. I enjoyed my experience so much! The food that I ordered which included a dinner of steak and an omelet for breakfast were delicious. I would like to stay at this hotel anytime I am in Houston. Any other hotel would just be a disappointment.
Positives: The members of the hotel staff were all very nice and helpful.
Negatives: NA
