This facility is past it's prime. Lamp switch on light between beds was broke, had to unplug to turn light off. Explains why it was unplugged when we got there. Ice machine signage, but no ice machine...finally found one. Very dark near the entrance at rear entrance of hotel, one light bulb burned out, the other missing. Toilet and shower not very clean. Needed 2 washcloths & towels, but front desk clerk told me housekeeping was closed after 10pm and they didn't have extra. Said he could probably locate some towels from pool area. I personally went to housekeeping and got them myself. One of the weakest managed hotels We've ever stayed in. My advise, don't stay here.
Positives: Rooms were spacious.
Negatives: Front desk not very helpful.

The people were very unprofessional and rude, especially late at night. The room was disgusting, bed skirts were stained, everything was outdated and worn out, the smell of the room was gross and the TV was super old and difficult to use.
Positives: The pool was nice.
Negatives: Service was poor, room was awful in every way.

If you are looking for a value and can stand some bad carpet stay here.
Positives: Pool and the slide area are awesome!
Negatives: The carpet was dingy and had a bad odor.

Hotel room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom was old and dated. All fixtures were very low and hard to use even thought I am only 5'5 and there was no storage space for personal items like toothbrushes or combs because the bathroom has a pedestal sink. TV was also a small tube<BR/>TV which should be upgraded to a flat screen.
Positives: Hotel staff was excellent.
Negatives: Bathroom was not user friendly.

All the staff were wonderful and very friendly! I was traveling by myself and I felt safe and at home. They took me back and forth to school and I was always on time. One time they even waited 20 minutes for me to get my food even after the store forgot to make it. I wish I got a chance to use the pool, but like I said I had to go to school. The staff was never and I never rude or unprofessional. They went the extra mile and I didn't even have to ask. I really appreciated this. They truly gave me piece of mind and excellent customer service! The staff seemed like they were family.
Positives: They went above and beyond to meet my needs. Like taking me back and forth to school.
Negatives: When I tried to extend, they were booked up!

The Wyndham is a beautiful hotel, both inside and out, and we enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The service was exemplary and the room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The outside and inside public areas were just as lovely; the main lobby in particular, with the floors so shiny you could almost see yourself in them.
Positives: The employees were absolutely the best at what they did.
Negatives: Nothing!

The hotel has a "Pet Friendly" policy which translated to two small dogs barking incessantly in the empty room next door. A call to the front desk brought an immediate response from hotel staff and security, and ultimately, the dogs were a non-issue.
Positives: Clean, well appointed, proximity to airport.
Negatives: A small dog barking continuously in next room.

Comfortable room, easy to get in and out, freindly people.
Positives: Ease of finding and convienency of it.
Negatives: Under construction.

The hotel is going through a moderate upgrade. Thus, there were several construction areas. My room had been partially updated. However, the TV and bathroom area looked like it was almost twenty years old. The rooms were quiet. Yet, I could hear the floor squeaking when someone on the second floor walked by my room.
Positives: The bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Parts of the room were outdated, i.e. bathroom.

Due to extensive renovation, the hotel environment was disrupted, cluttered, and noisy. Aside from that, however, the restaurant offered only bar food and the wine list read something like a sixth grade dance (California Chardonnay was the name of one selection on the list). Restaurant chairs were metal, carpet was cheap.
Positives: It was close to the airport.
Negatives: It was under heavy renovation.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. I did not have a car and they drove me to any restaurant or mall I wanted to go to and picked me up as well. I was greeted by all staff with a hello and how are you. Even the cleaning staff was gracious and courteous. I would stay here again and prefer this site in El Paso over any other hotel.
Positives: The staff was excellent! Always greated with a smile and hello by all staff.
Negatives: It's under construction so there's not much atmosphere.

The bed was very nice, the front desk staff was decent, but they need more servers at the bar at night. We waited quite a while after we finished our first round of drinks to be offered anything else. The bathroom for a two room suite was very small and I have had larger bathrooms in smaller hotel rooms. The lobby was very pretty and elegant but the rest of the hotel didn't match up to it. I don't believe it deserved a high star rating. Overall it was a decent stay.
Positives: The lobby was very nice and elegant, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Negatives: The TV, fridge and furniture need updating as well as the bar downstairs, its all very outdated and needs renovation.

Hotel is poorly laid out, guestrooms are spread out in several different buildings, my room was smelly, interior was old and dingy looking. My key did not work after my long walk to the room. Pool looked nice.
Positives: Proximity to airport walk across parking lot.
Negatives: Overall everything.

They were evidentially remodeling this hotel, The Shower faucet in my room was broken, the carpet outside my room was torn up, and it didn't meet my expectations as far as past experience with this hotel.
Positives: I liked the location.
Negatives: The fact that the carpet in the hallway was removed.

First time to the area, Friendly environment, felt safe.
Positives: I liked the location and the southwest charm.
Negatives: Dead bugs in the bathroom.

I was extremely pleased with my stay; staff was binding over backwards trying to accommodate me. The outside of the building made a great impression on friends visiting. The pool was maintained well, plenty of staff on hand.
Positives: The water slide was great.
Negatives: Hard to get to if you didn't know where it was.
