We stayed here last year (paid full price), and we were glad to have gotten a great price through priceline this year. We were disappointed that our room windows were still just as dirty as they were last year. Also, last year I fell walking over one of the thresholds into the ballroom due to problems with the carpet pad. They repaired this area, but the carpet pad is still not smooth and I was concerned again about falling. I don't feel like the maintenance is as good as it should be. Otherwise, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable.

Positives: The staff was very friendly. The room was large.

Negatives: They do not clean the outside of the windows in the room enough.

I stay here regularly, so I don't think I have anything new to say.

Positives: Quiet floors for starwood preferred guests.

Negatives: The never ending road work around the hotel.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I did not run into a lot of people which was a plus. I will also consider making the Westin my preferred choice in hotels.

Positives: Value, room upgrade, and cleanliness.

Negatives: Pricey parking!

Average 3 star hotel, maybe 3.5, but definitely not a 4.

Positives: Beds were comfortable, and room was quiet.

Negatives: No fridge when we arrived. Fairly basic room, nothing special.

I have stayed there several times and I always hope I get it. The only negative thing (and it is small) is that the staff may have had a turn over and does not seem quite as nice as previous times.

Positives: Bed and bedding. Very cool and comfortable.

Negatives: Restaurant is overpriced, but then all hotel restaurants are. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

I thought the lobby was nice, and the people were nice.

Positives: Nice lobby.

Negatives: Ugly hallways, small rooms and beds.

Upon walking into the room it smelled like bad body odor. It was warm in the room, we turned the air from 72 to 66 and left it there overnight. We woke up throughout the night sweating because it was so hot in the room which would explain why the room smells it does not cool off. We asked for a 6:15 wake up call the following morning and did not get it. Luckily I woke up about 20 minutes after the time we needed to get up. We left the air on 66 all day. Upon returning to the room it was still warm. Obviously the air did not work. The staff was not knowledgeable about dining options within their area. Four different people at the front desk could not give adequate information. Would not want to stay here again.

Positives: It's location.

Negatives: The room smelled like bad body odor, the air did not work, did not get wake up call that we asked for.

Lobby was nice - now they need to work on the rooms.

Positives: Food was good, but over priced.

Negatives: Rooms were crummy - peeling caulk, peeling paint/wall paper, pillows were horrible.

As you'd expect from a 4 star hotel.

Positives: Excellent price.

Negatives: No complaints.

The hotel was beautiful, but not really kid or pet friendly. I don't travel with either one and to have to hear the dogs bark all night and the kids playing in the hall outside my door was annoying.

Positives: The beauty.

Negatives: There were 2 dogs that barked all night, kids playing in the hall and the parking garage was too tight.

My stay was amazing as always. I had a problem with my stay, but the Manager helped me out and took care of everything. Thank God for her. I will recommend only this hotel to anyone staying in Dallas and I don't plan to stay any where else in the future. You are treated so well here.

Positives: The beds are amazing.

Negatives: The bathroom toilet ran all night.

It was very clean. Beautiful lobby, gorgeous over view of Dallas from 3rd story pool area. Took beautiful pics. Will stay again anytime!

Positives: It was beautiful! The room was large and bed was amazing!

Negatives: The free parking is definitely a good walk, $20 parking if u don't use the free parking lot.

This hotel completely disappointed me. I could of stayed at a budget hotel somewhere for half the price and not of had to pay for parking or breakfast. Not that I wouldn't mind paying around 5 or 10 for valet, but when they charge $20 for valet and the 12 to park your car yourself it's just not right. The restaurant was overly priced with a entrée around $30 a plate and no free breakfast was offered. Also I hate it when hotels put bottles of water or other items in a room that seem to be complimentary, but when looked at closer they want to charge some price for it.

Positives: The Lobby and dining area was very nice.

Negatives: The hotel required $20 for valet or $12 to park in the garage, free parking was across the street in an unsecured parking lot.

Spacious, comfortable room. Great location for us.

Positives: Spacious room and location.

Negatives: Needs to be money friendlier in bar.

Hotel is near the Dallas Gallera North/East of Dallas. Great for the business travel or for large parties. Facilities were very clean.

Positives: Public areas are trendy.

Negatives: Room was not updated for a the Hotel star level. Kinda a disappointment after seeing the lobby.

That hotel was the worst that i have experienced so far. Bedding wasn't clean had stains on sheets and pillows. You only get a microwave upon request which takes forever and it wasn't clean and off balance. It was just not right.

Positives: Nothing

Negatives: The rooms and the service from the hotel.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 10 Feb 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The people were extremely nice as was the hotel room. I loved that the whole hotel was non-smoking. There were many health choices on the menu, but a bit pricey.

Positives: The room was very nice.

Negatives: The sink was about to fall out of the vanity. Bathroom needed updating.

I have used Priceline many time to get this hotel, great quality for the price.

Positives: Very comfortable bed.

Negatives: Internet cost is high.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at the hotel, however, I felt the $12.99/overnight parking fee was out of line. The parking garage has an old worn out appearance not in character with the hotel, and is not ADA friendly. To access the hotel lobby from the garage you must carry luggage over stairs and raised islands.

Positives: Clean and quite rooms. Overall the hotel had a well maintained appearance.

Negatives: The parking garage is old and unattractive. Parking is too expensive.

Friendly.

Positives: It is a wonderful hotel.

Negatives: 20 dollars for valet parking.

Pretty place, but very crowded and noisy with lots of children and a lot of cheer leaders and pep squad members. Dirty Vents with dust hanging from them and it was a real problem for my allergies. We couldn't regulate the temperature in the room. It was 35 degrees outside and the fan blew cold air and wouldn't shut off unless we put it up to 80 degrees and then we were too hot. We complained, without results. Expensive to park $12.00/day.

Positives: Good location and price.

Negatives: Dirty vents couldn't control temperature in room. We were very uncomfortable and the management didn't fix the problem.

The toilet was not clean,
the toilet paper and the holder were on the floor, there wasn't a
TV remote in the room, no Travelhost magazine, and the table next to the chair was not clean. Other than that everything was great.

Positives: The beds.

Negatives: After the first night, everything was as expected.

This is a superb hotel for great value that is conveniently located a short distance from the Galleria, other fine Dallas sites, and easy access to North park and Downtown. Very friendly staff and rooms and public areas are always exceptionally clean. Absolutely one of our favorite Priceline hotels. Never disappointed.

Positives: Great room, upgraded.

Negatives: No stationery in room at all! Charges for internet.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times and each experience is better than the last. I loved this hotel and got a great deal.

Positives: The beds were amazing! The service was excellent.

Negatives: The $26 parking is too expensive.

This is a great place to stay. Malls are close by and the staff is superb. Restaurant and the bar are a great place to relax. Great weekend. Will stay there again.

Positives: We enjoyed the bar. Very clean, great atmosphere, most of all your employees were great!

Negatives: Shampoo. That's it.

I was quickly greeted as I walked through the front door with a beautiful lobby and was greeted by the front desk. The room was great and the bed was heavenly. It was a great stay and I'd go back again and again.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and the room was in great shape and clean.

Negatives: Nothing.

The hotel was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very clean, the halls were a little drab. The batteries were dead in the remote control so we did not watch TV. This was not a priority in our stay in Dallas so that did not really matter. The coffee however was the incorrect type for the coffee maker so we could not use it. Overall, the hotel was lovely and our stay was excellent. Would stay there again.

Positives: The bed and the spacious room.

Negatives: The pool was a little dirty and small for such a nice hotel.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 09 Jun 2009 rated 10 out of 10.

Friendly staff, great rooms, best bed ever!

Positives: The absolute most comfortable bed I've ever slept on!

Negatives: Hallways were a little plain, if I had to say something.

Very nice easy to get to location. Great room for the price.

Positives: The bedding was very nice. The shower was great!

Negatives: The $12 a day parking.

Nice older hotel, the no free parking, no free internet, no free breakfast.

Positives: Friendly check in.

Negatives: No free internet, expensive parking.
