If you are placed in the renovated tower, you will love this hotel. if you are not. Well, it's like staying in a basic hotel.
Positives: Common and renovated room side was very nice.
Negatives: Stayed in unrenovated side - smelled funny and not as nice as other side.

I really expected more of a Sheraton in downtown Dallas. I have been to less starred hotels that at least have a refrigerator for the travelers. Would have been more convenient by far. A microwave would have been nice too.
Positives: God location.
Negatives: No refrigerator, and no microwave.

Sheraton was a great hotel for vacationing in Dallas with excellent location to major freeways. The fitness center is big with lots of equipment so it is just like being at your gym back home. The beds are wonderful with great soft pillows.
Positives: Great location. Great beds. Outstanding workout facility!
Negatives: Nothing.

Bait and switch. They do not disclose that it costs 30 dollars to park your car per night. Not pleased
Positives: Location
Negatives: Got the room for a night but when I got there they told me it was an additional 30 dollars to park.

Couple that with a $21.00 self park fee, 4.50 for a bottle of water and a charge for internet in the room... I can say despite the cleanliness, comfort, view and a employee that helped us, the overall experience was bad.
Positives: Location and view was nice, rooms were very comfortable and clean.
Negatives: $21.00 to park your own car in the hotel parking garage.

The accommodations were lovely. The beds were so comfortable. The staff courteous and kind.
Positives: The atmosphere was incredible and the service was GREAT.
Negatives: I didn't like paying for a room that we could hear the train as well as traffic on the 8th floor.

Room was small, but that wasn't that big of a deal. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Also, I was on the 5th floor and there was about 25 people gathered in an outdoor patio singing, laughing, carrying on well past midnight. I called the front desk to request a room change, but was told the hotel was at full capacity. (Really? Not one available room??) So he told me he would send security to ask them to keep it down (this was after midnight) but it never happened.

Negatives: Extremely uncomfortable pillows.

I was very disappointed in my stay. The room was nice but customer service lacked. I tried to call room service, never received an answer and was charged $3.00 for the call. I forgot my toothbrush so I tried to call guest services, no answer again! It was a very "help yourself atmosphere." I've received better service at a 3 star hotel.
Positives: The room was quite.
Negatives: Customer Service lacked.

It was a great experience.
Positives: The room, hotel decor and location.
Negatives: Our room was on a green Eco friendly thermostat that didn't seem to keep the room cool.

Downtown Dallas, a short DART ride or walk from Arts district and Convention center. Not much to do in the region on weekends otherwise.
Positives: Spacious room.
Negatives: Inconsistent service in media sports lounge. Tried to charged $9 for bottled water I did not use at checkout.

We've stayed several times now and have used Priceline for each stay.

Negatives: No free WiFi in rooms.

We went to Dallas for an annual sportsmen show held at the Dallas Convention Center. This hotel was great as it was close to the convention center and was very easy to find. A plus in downtown Dallas.
Positives: Great location, easy access, nice bar.
Negatives: Bath tub was plugged up, asked them to fix but it took two days. Parking was expensive.

Positives: Upscale room great TV.
Negatives: Parking was 19.00 a day absurd.

Overall experience was great for the hotel. I wouldn't dine in the hotel at all poor service and not clean!
Positives: Friendly staff.

Very nice hotel with a good view. The room is worth the price that you pay, but has a little to much customer service if you know what I mean. Overall, the hotel is one of the nicest hotels for the price in Dallas.
Positives: A modern more upscale hotel.
Negatives: When I checked in, they charged me after I had paid on Priceline.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 19 May 2010 rated 7 out of 10.
The hotel was very nice and the price was great. They gave us a free upgrade to a huge suite upon check-in. The parking garage pricing was very misleading. There was a sign that said hotel guests should use their key card to get into the garage and then they had a different sign that had the pricing for non-guests $20 per night. When I checked out, they gave me a receipt for a couple of phone calls and never mentioned the parking fees. We assumed parking was free for guests. A couple of days later they charged our credit card $60 for parking for 3 days. This was very frustrating and misleading. Also it was $15 per day for internet access, and most places I've stayed at it is complementary. The hotel was clean, but the pool was very small and full of leaves and bugs. Not a very family friendly place, and I'd suggest finding another place to park your car. They also put a group of people in the room next to ours on an otherwise empty floor that had a loud party at 2 am. I called the security about it and it didn't seem to make a difference.
Positives: They upgraded us to an executive suite.
Negatives: The price for parking was misleading, and they charged our credit card without our permission.

Excellent hotel, had a good stay. And they gave to use $ 120.00 worth of room service to make-up for the room being dirty when we checked in. I should have ordered there steak.
Positives: Room size, the view, room layout and comfortable beds.
Negatives: Room wasn't cleaned from the previous guests, when we arrived. They didn't have free Wi-Fi internet.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big enough, clean, and well furnished. The staff was friendly. The food was fair, the breakfast buffet was the same every morning. I only had dinner once and it was just fair. Go to the Press Club Grill a couple of blocks from the hotel.
Positives: Clean and comfortable.
Negatives: Buffet breakfast boring - change it around a little.

The parking was a bit tight but otherwise the hotel was an excellent experience.
Positives: The staff both hospitality and domestic
Negatives: I was a bit disappointed since I had to leave early due to an illness and loss a full day.

Overall really great. Met some of the staff and that's what made my trip so great.
Positives: Activities and personally
Negatives: The central web center. No free internet in room.

Visiting friend in close hospital, room exceeded expectations for cost on priceline
Positives: Very clean room, nice restroom - swanky.
Negatives: $17.00 a night parking (unexpected).

Nice hotel, but they want to charge extra for everything. $4.99 for a bottle of water in the room, $20 per day to rent fridge or microwave, expensive parking. At first confusing to find your room, three towers that do not connect. Staff at check in desk was very slow. The hotel is clean and they have a nice fitness center and pool area.
Positives: Nice fitness area.
Negatives: Expensive parking, high charge for fridge or microwave.

The staff there was not friendly nor was they genuine. We were locked out of our room and three trips to the front desk for new key cards was frustrating. There was a hotel full of teenagers for a convention so the noise level was ridiculous. I was in Dallas for a total of 4 days and my stay a the Hyatt Regency was by far the best I've had. Sheraton should take a lesson in customer service from the Hyatt. I'm willing to pay the additional cost for better service.
Positives: The location.
Negatives: Other than the fact that the ice machine was broken, we sat on hold with guest services for 30 minutes, and room service never came to bring us ice.

Restaurants in the hotel were fine, although the bartender in the sports bar seemed eager to stop serving food prior to the kitchen closing, in order to get the patrons to leave. The hotel room itself was very nice and clean, bed was incredibly comfortable. Desk/concierge staff were all friendly.
Positives: The room was clean and well-appointed.
Negatives: There was not much recreational activity to do in the immediate vicinity.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 02 Apr 2010 rated 8 out of 10.
The hotel is very nice, clean, and updated. The only negative for us was the high cost of parking.
Positives: The rooms were very nicely updated.
Negatives: Parking prices were high! Almost $ 20 for self park and $ 26 for valet!
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 23 Mar 2010 rated 8 out of 10.
The room in the tower we were in was very small. Valet parking cost $28 for a day. The hotel staff was very friendly, though. The sports bar was very big and had two pool tables in the back. The hotel was right downtown next to the museum and West End.
Positives: Nice ambiance.
Negatives: The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

I<BR/>felt like a princess at my stay.
Positives: Elegant and big.
Negatives: Parking price.

An overall excellent hotel. I did not eat at the restaurant or sports bar, nor did I use the pool or exercise facilities, so I can't comment.
Positives: Convenient to American Airlines Center.
Negatives: The Elevator cables could be heard from my room.

This(Sheraton Hotel) was very nice and comfortable. The staff was ready and willing to help.
