It is really close to six flags, I enjoyed my stay there except for the fact that the staff at the restaurant sucked big time. The food is not impressive too. My room was facing the freeway so we could hear the cars at night. we had to live the TV on. but the hotel is clean and beautiful might actually go back there but never eat at the restaurant. seafood is not fresh!
Positives: Location and overall experience.
Negatives: That my room was by the freeway and I had to keep TV on not to hear it.

Overall clean, friendly staff. Lots of families there but I would have thought the rooms would have been nicer.
Positives: Shuttle driver went out of his way to help get us to the Rangers game when city buses ran way late.
Negatives: I got a smoking room that I hadn't gotten to specify and you could smell the stench of old smoke.

Family hated the Crowne
We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, so the family could visit nearby Six Flags. The check-in time was 3:00p.m, and we had made reservations for all three rooms to be: Room Type: 2 Double Beds Non-smoking and close to each other. We arrive at 3pm, and they have no rooms for us, and suggested we stow all our bags in a storage room, and they will look for some rooms, we missed the shuttle to 6 flags, and had to wait an hour until the trolley came by again. After a debate at the counter, they found us 3 rooms, saying they had a hard time because they didn't have rooms close together, but when we made the reservations, and they took my credit card, they had the rooms close together (that is the reason we booked at their hotel). The rooms they gave us were not the same as we reserved, but when you are standing at the counter with 10 people (5 kids), that is not the time to argue. Two of the 3 rooms were the wrong type, they had a pull out couch (not comfortable) for a second bed instead of a queen, the family members who got stuck with a pull out couch for a bed were not happy! The only room that was the right type (2 queen beds), the AC didn't work. You have to pay $11.50 per adult for the breakfast & buffet, my wife gave my 5-year-grandson a roll when we needed to leave, and we got to buy a whole meal because she shared the roll with him.

The hotel sent up a plate of cookies to each room, this was supposed to make up for sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. They gave me 25,000 priority club points to try and make up for their behavior. The general manager seems to be good at writing rebuttals to reviews, but he was not there when I needed him. If the hotel didn't have the rooms I reserved, why didn't they notify me so we could have found suitable quarters. I feel we were lied to by the front desk, and I don't want cookies or points when I travel, I want hotels, that if they take my reservation and money, to honor that arrangement.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Staff.

This hotel is way past its prime. The furniture and room fixtures are old and dated. It seems like a hotel where they tried to but couldn't...I think they have done the best they can do with what they have. It is NOT a 31/2 star hotel, nor is it a 3 star. I would rate it a 21/2 tops.
Positives: the lobby was nice and the room was a suite (big but old)
Negatives: old, in an industrial, warehouse district not as near attractions as was stated; wine at dinner was bad;

My second experience at the Crown Plaza in Arlington was not as pleasant as the first. Even though I was placed on the quiet-zone top floor, the noise from neighboring rooms and outside was much worse than my last stay on the third floor. The worst part was that being on the top floor, the smell of cigarettes traveled up the bathroom vent from smoking rooms below and caused my entire two-room non-smoking suite to smell like a heavy smoking room. I had to stuff a wet washcloth in the vent slots to somewhat block the smell!
Positives: Two room suites, fridge and bar in room.
Negatives: Location, out of date decor and bath.

Lobby and outside are very nice, but the rooms need to be updated. The room was hot and did not cool well, the TV was outdated and some of the channels did not come in clearly. The shower was either very hot or cool.
Positives: The indoor pool was very nice & cool.
Negatives: They did not provide us with the room that we called ahead for. Room was hot.

We enjoyed our stay. Large room, great for our family of 5, very comfortable bed, quiet and has a convenient trolley to all the attractions around that area. Breakfast was offered but at a large $. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, but it closed at pm, so we didn't get to spend much time there. For the price we got through Priceline we'd definitely stay again. The kids loved the glass elevators!
Positives: The room was large with a refrigerator and sofa bed. Pool and hot tub were indoor and very nice!
Negatives: The hotel is older, the sofa bed was poor quality and access to I-30 was tricky!

Good & clean hotel. Only semi-complaint is that when there are parties in the lobby you can hear them in the sitting area of your room. It wasn't as bad in the bedroom area though. And it wasn't bad enough to make us not stay again.
Positives: My 2 year old was fascinated by the elevators that he could see going up & down.
Negatives: Noisy party in the lobby that could be heard in our room.

Excellent all around. Loved the glass elevators.
Positives: Beautiful suite for a single room price.
Negatives: Roundabout (but not bad) route to get to this hotel from freeway.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price! Suite was comfortable, clean. Indoor pool and hot tub close at 10, so didn't make it in there. Starbucks in atrium as well as restaurant and sports bar. No continental breakfast. Ice cream for sale in the lobby. Traveled with girlfriend and two 11 yr olds. We were very comfortable there. Not as close to six flags as other hotels, but free shuttle makes up for that, and it saves u money on parking! For any average traveler, you will enjoy your stay here.
Positives: Beautiful atrium, liked that it was a suite, friendly staff, ice cream & starbucks
Negatives: Refrigerator didnt get cold.

All in all, very nice hotel. The desk attendant gave us the wrong room at first and the room was occupied, but he made it okay by giving us free breakfast buffets for 5! The layout was nice. All rooms faced in. It was a little louder than other hotels I've stayed. Nice hotel. Would stay again.
Positives: Elevator and buffet.
Negatives: Location was hard to get to.

This hotel is not worth the price that we paid. The lobby and atrium were nicely updated but the rooms are not. there were cracks in the ceilings and rusty bathroom. The layout of the rooms was odd.
I am very disappointed, this hotel did not meet my expectations.
Positives: The location was close to six flags texas which was very convenient for us.
Negatives: No pull away beds.

Great location near Six Flags and highway 360. Every room is a suite and very roomy and quiet. We had a room facing the highway on the 2nd floor and couldn't hear any road noise! Beds are very comfortable.
Positives: The seperated living area and bedrooms are nice, more space in these suites than most hotels.
Negatives: Older hotel, clean but not as modern as some.

I stayed here for three nights, the staffs were extremely helpful. The pool was my favorite place but the jacuzzi acts like it has ADHD, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't work. But Overall, I will recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.
Positives: The staffs were extremely helpful with all my requests. I asked for a change of room after spending about 2 hours in my room, they obliged.
Negatives: Besides the slow wireless Internet, every other thing was perfect.

When we checked in they did not have the room we selected and it was a non smoking room that smelled like an ash tray, they said nothing else was available. Our room was above the kitchen, not usually a big deal except for a defective exhaust hood banging outside our window. I called and the front desk was very unwilling to do something. I called them back and the front desk would not answer, so at 12:30 in the morning I went to the front desk and she said I guess I can call engineering then at 5:30 the fire alarm went off. Guess what it was, the exhaust hood. At check out I inquired about it and they asked what room I was in and I told them. Both girls looked at each other and walked without saying nothing. The property was nice but the staff was another subject. Does not say much for Crown Plaza management.
Positives: Nice for price. Convenient to attractions.
Negatives: Unfriendly staff.

Very helpful and friendly staff, nice indoor pool, hot tub, and gym! We had a nice time and would stay there again. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend!
Positives: The decor was beautiful, we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna. It was nice to get in sauna after getting out of the indoor pool.
Negatives: I liked everything. If I had to say something, the floors were a little outdated. Other than that no complaints.

In general, my stay at this hotel was great. It was a lot better than I expected. Room service was a disappointment. Also, having to respond to a fire drill was not the best way to spend my evening.
Positives: Cleanliness, suite, general look.
Negatives: Room service, expensive and food not very good. Fake shrimp.
