This hotel would be perfect if it were in a better part of town.
Positives: The staff was nice and the rooms were clean.
Negatives: Bad area, lots of police activity and suspicious people lurking around.

A great place for the money. Would definitely stay there upon return to Nashville. Only complaint was shower was cold but everything was very clean & the beds were comfortable.
Positives: Everything was very clean & very easy to find.
Negatives: The water was only cold and not hot.

I argued with the front desk person that we cannot stay in a smoking room! I have very severe asthma. He also said that this was their only room available when we checked in! I told him to book us on another Day's Inn in the city but he said they are all independently owned and he cannot do that for us.
Positives: Location & the price.
Negatives: They put us in a smoking room and we did not smoke.

Basic no-frills hotel on the North side of town about 4-5 miles from Opryland.
Positives: Bathrooms had been recently redone.
Negatives: Disappointed about the distance away from Opryland.

It was on the north outskirts of town, several miles past the Opryland tourist area that it claimed to be in, surrounded by businesses with bars on the windows. It was not a safe part of town.
Positives: It had cable TV.
Negatives: It was not near Opryland. It was several miles away and in a seedy part of town.

Good for business traveler like me who is looking for a cheap place to stay during week days? Free internet access is a plus. The free donut and coffee are just ok.
Positives: Close to highway 65/ and work, and it is cheap.
Negatives: The general area/neighborhood.

I was disappointed in this hotel and this is only the 2nd bad experience. The room was fairly comfortable, they had a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was a good thing since their continental breakfast only included stale donuts, juice and coffee. The one man that I saw at both check in and check out was not pleasant and argued with me. I already felt I had paid too much for this room and to have to pay extra to get two beds didn't sit well with me.
Positives: I like the location in comparison to our travel route.
Negatives: They charged me extra to get 2 beds.

This establishment has seen better days. Appears maintenance is being done but if the owners really want the family business, a more forward and comprehensive approach is needed.
Positives: The heating system kept the room toasty.
Negatives: Problems with door lock, noisy neighbors.

Weary after reading reviews, but boy are most of these guys wrong. Hotel was EXTREMELY CLEAN, had the highest rating from Days Inn for cleanliness. Hotel just received new mattresses in all of the rooms, and are upgrading many things throughout the hotel. Microwave and refrigerators were larger than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Wireless Internet was a PLUS. Will stay again when I'm in Nashville.
Positives: Cleanliness, refrigerator, wireless internet.
Negatives: Had to stay in a smoking room, since all the Non's were booked, not the Hotel's fault though. I should have booked ahead.

Negatives: Towels were stiff.

I was disappointed that my money went to pay for this low level hotel. I felt unsafe. The door to the room was shabby. The hotel was clean but the electricty went off twice during our stay.
Positives: Below my standards for hotels
Negatives: Below my standards for hotels.

I have stayed at over 15 plus hotels. This was the worst quality hotel I have ever stayed at. what really got me was when the hotel clerk was quoting rooms.
Positives: The location met my needs
Negatives: The outside of the hotel not very well kept.

The room was fair value for the rate paid for the area. It was easy to get to and had several resturants in walking distance (primarily fast food).
Positives: convenience of access off Interstate 65
Negatives: The upgrades/repairs were not done well

Not that great-sorry
Positives: Good coffee in the lobby area
Negatives: The hotel wasn't very clean, wandering people-somewhat scary.

I checked a moderate hotel and this hotel was terrible. The doors to the room were right off the sidewalk and there was some sort of "suspicious activity" going on two doors down and doors slamming all night long. The next morning I told the attendant at the desk (who could barely speak English) that I was unhappy and he told me he would have the manager call me but I've yet to hear from him. I would have asked for a refund for my night's stay.
Positives: had a refrigerator
Negatives: door opened outside--doors slamming all night long --

I am extremely frustrated by this experience. We pushed our luggage up against the door, placed barriers in the windows and stayed in the room. We were awakened in the night by loud guests and sirens. If we were driving by this hotel, we would not have stopped to even ask for a price.
Positives: The person who was there in the evening knew we were quite concerned about the area and the hotel. He apologized to us.
Negatives: There is absolutely no way this was a 2 star hotel - compared to others we have stayed in. We drove by other Days Inn hotels that did look nice, .

For a night stay, this is a hotel that would be good for the price that was paid.
Positives: It was in a location that was best for my use.
Negatives: For someone who was going to stay for more than one day, there was nothing to do at the hotel.

It is a clean hotel in a very conveinent north Nashville locataion but it is too noisy. There is way too much street noise. I only averaged about four hours of sleep a night there. If you stay at this hotel, ask for a room on the west side, opposite the McDonalds and Waffle house restaurants because every morning at 4:30 a.m. garbage trucks empty out the dumpsters.
Positives: Good location in North Nashville.
Negatives: Too Noisy! Too much street noise for a business traveler.

The Days Inn North Nashville in Nashville had very clean rooms, but the location is not so desirable, although not terrible.
Positives: clean rooms
Negatives: location
