Highly recommend based on location. You can walk everywhere downtown and it is literally right across the street from the Ryman Auditorium. Very clean. Room service was good. Starbucks in the lobby.
Positives: Location
Negatives: Concierge desk sometimes seems to be staffed by not very knowledgeable associates.

The Renaissance is a nice hotel for business travelers or tourists concentrating on downtown Nashville. The room was clean and spacious but the HVAC left much to be desired. It is a good Priceline value.
Positives: It is a nice hotel -- convention traffic and wedding parties. The room was spacious and the staff friendly.
Negatives: The HVAC was not up to standards and the room was cool but stuffy.

Great location, good staff, very clean, will definitely stay here again.
Positives: The views from the room on 23rd floor were wonderful! Liked the glass elevators too.
Negatives: The pretty bar was dead at all times. drinks uber expensive.

The hotel was conveniently located, and close to Broadway with its array of nightclubs, restaurants, and music venues. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The walls appeared "thin", easy to hear other guests. A fair amount of hallway noise, and the toilets flushing was a bothersome noise.
Positives: The staff was very pleasant! Southern hospitality! Close to Broadway music venues.
Negatives: Noisy. Thin walls.

This is a party hotel. If you like to go to bed early and rise early and sleep through the night, this hotel is NOT for you. If you like to party well into the night than you will be right at home. Personally, I like to sleep through the night, so I will not be staying at this hotel again. The Union Station would be a better match.
Positives: Room was comfortable, view was nice, location good.
Negatives: Party hotel - security called at 2am because of party.

The hotel was nice but they had a convention going on and there were so many people that it was 45 minutes to get on the elevator to our room. We had to take the stairs to the 10th floor!
Positives: It is very close to downtown
Negatives: Was crowded and ill equiped for that many people.

I was overall pleased with my experience at Renaissance Hotel Nashville. The staff was very helpful when I had questions and the location was wonderful. Could walk a few blocks to all the main areas. One thing that could use improving was the food at the hotel. We ordered room service the 1st night we arrived and it was so-so. We also ate the buffet at the restaurant and it was average.
Positives: It was close to all of the main attractions.
Negatives: Food in In room dining could have been better.

We did not feel welcome at the hotel. A fire alarm went off at about 1:30 AM and we were instructed to evacuate the hotel and told that this was not a drill. When we descended the 10 flights of stairs, not one said a word to us with further instructions. We went outside and the fire truck drove by. Still no instructions. We then went to the front desk and they said someone had falsely pulled the alarm. There was no further announcement that it was false. Disabled people were subjected to evacuating, when a simple announcement that it was a false alarm would have helped.
Positives: Room and common areas were nice.
Negatives: 3 check-in staffers ignored until we asked to register.

We've been to Nashville 5 times and stayed at a different place each time. Next time we will definitely return to the Rennaissance!

Nice hotel in a decent location for downtown Nashville. The room was as expected, two queens - kings were all booked out, clean and quiet. Liked that the TV was a flat screen with some HD channels. Only downside was the shower - zero pressure with some odd water saver head, barely able to wash the shampoo out of your hair. That one item pretty much killed it for me - I'd stay somewhere else next time to get a decent shower in the morning.
Positives: Room was nice and clean with comfortable beds and a flat screen tv.
Negatives: The shower pressure was absolutely pitiful.

Thank you for a great spot to stop on our way through the city.
Positives: Great rest.
Negatives: Parking - having to pay for each exit of the parking garage; day rate preferred .

A great room and wonderful common areas in the hotel. Bridge restaurant and bar were really nice and priced right.
Positives: Nice bedding and plenty of towels. Nice view, pretty room.
Negatives: A mini fridge would be good and needs free WiFi.

Hotel met every expectation of quality. Overall experience was superb, but would have liked to have at least a micro fridge in room. But didn't degrade overall stay. Room service was decent but food arrived a bit chilled, and calamari seemed like it was reheated and not fresh.
Positives: Staff, cleanliness, and atmosphere were of top notch quality 5 star.
Negatives: Did not have a fridge.

Overall a positive experience but 1 morning I ordered breakfast and without any exaggeration it was the worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel; Eggs Benedicts showed up with no Suace! bacon and hasbrown were simply discusting to say the least; what a disappointment for a $47 breakfast!
Positives: Nice clean, great location.
Negatives: Worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel (room service).

Very friendly staff that provided excellent service including upgrading our room. Hotel restaurant and room service both had good meals. Adjacent to the hotel was a Ruth Chris Steak House.
Positives: Excellent food!
Negatives: Central heat was difficult to adjust to our preferences.
