This was a great hotel but I wanted something downtown and vanderbilt is not very close to the downtown district.
Positives: Wonderful bed.
Negatives: Location.

Excellent hotel for all travel. Outstanding service. Best I have yet to receive while traveling in Nashville. Bed was comfortable and HVAC was good.
Positives: Excellent staff! Very professional, but also courteous and considerate of all requests.
Negatives: We had to travel in late and once we arrived the band was in a lounge very close to the front desk. It was hard to converse with the clerk.

Well worth the Priceline price. Not worth the standard pricing. However, the hotel is very nice and I enjoyed my stay. Beds are wonderful!
Positives: Friendly front desk workers and interesting wheat growing in lobby.
Negatives: No free Internet.

It was a very beautiful hotel. The valet and shuttle service was excellent. The staff very helpful and friendly. Again, the only disappoint was no pool and the room didn't get cleaned under after 3:00 pm and they cleaned it while we were in it.
Positives: Close proximity to our destinations.
Negatives: It did not have a pool - very disappointed as it was in the high 90s every day. Also our room was not cleaned in a timely manner.

Loved the experiences except for the fact that basics were paid. I wish AAA had freebies for this place.

Positives: Location, staff and
Negatives: Parking was paid - $21 + tax a day OMG! And wireless was paid. What hotel charges you for wireless these days.

The Hotel staff was excellent and met all requests with a smile. The Hotel was clean and neat. The parking deck is a major drawback, it is dirty, dark and very difficult to walk in. The Hotel has no swimming pool and this is not good for families.
Positives: Excellent location.
Negatives: Terrible parking deck and no swimming pool.

This hotel is elegantly designed. It was larger than expected. Offers amenities at a cost. I would choose again if it had a pool and free parking. Although, I got a deal for 100$ a night, it will probably cost you 100$ more per night for added amenities.
Positives: The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable. Nice fitness room.
Negatives: No pool, no free offerings most items camevwith x-tra fees.

The hotel is very nice. The decor of the lobby and rooms is very attractive, but I felt like I was being gouged with the 9.95 a day WIFI fee and the 21.00 a day parking fee. It's not that nice.
Positives: The lobby and grounds were beautiful.
Negatives: I had to pay for WIFI in the room, and parking was $21.00 a day.

Loews Vanderbilt exceeded my expectations. It was clean, people were friendly and the room was perfect in all the ways. I left early and came in late, got sick and was always very comfortable. Thanks Priceline for making this such a great experience.
Positives: It was an awesome experience and I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel.
Negatives: I couldn't stay there for that price again.

I was pleased with our experience.
Positives: The lobby area and bell boys were bright spots.
Negatives: The hotel room was nothing special.

Overall nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was located in a nice area and we were able to walk where we needed to go most of the time. The parking was very expensive (over $20/day) and the walls were a little thin. We could hear our neighbors talking.
Positives: The room was nice and the towels were huge.
Negatives: The parking was expensive! The decor of the the hallways was a little scary.

Don't expect 4-star rooms; 4-star service--OK, maybe. I've stayed a nicer 3.5-star hotels--lots of them.
Positives: Live music, location.
Negatives: The smell of smoke - I know it's Nashville; but, still. The room was not furnished as a 4-star room: it was very plain.

Positives: The overall feel of the hotel just made us feel safe, comfortable and able to relax while we were there.
Negatives: I guess if there was anything that I didn't like it would be the pricey snacks that were in the room.

Negatives: Nothing.

Very nice hotel. My view from my room was the roof top and side of the building. I guess that's what you get for using priceline, the less desirable rooms.
Positives: The rooms were nice and had comfortable beds.
Negatives: Having to pay for parking at $21 per night.

The Loews hotel is a gracious hotel with superb customer service, attention to detail and great southern hospitality. It is right across the street from Vanderbilt which made it a prime location for us to stay for our daughter's graduation.
Positives: The robes! the customer service! the live music in the lobby.
Negatives: Small rooms.

The Loew's Nashville was a very nice hotel, with large, comfy rooms. They had popcorn and lemonade in the lobby, and staff was generally friendly. Our room was right near the elevator and was quite loud, which was the only negative.
Positives: Room and bathroom were large and well-appointed.
Negatives: Our room was near the elevator and quite loud.

Stay at hotel was nice, but I would rate the hotel room a 3 to 3.5 star hotel. However, the hotel staff we interacted with were all nice and courteous. Even though parking at the hotel is expensive there are many parking garages behind the hotel that are free and only require a short walk. In addition there are many eateries located within a short walk of the hotel (ex:Ruth Chris to Five Guys). Overall I would rate the hotel room 3 stars and staff 4 stars.
Positives: Hotel is located close to Parthenon and many dining options.
Negatives: Older 4star hotel.

The lobby of the hotel is nice enough with granite and high ceilings, and a hint of class as there is a large white winding staircase (to the left of the check in desk) leading up to a second floor. The Room: sized at about 15x22, plus the bathroom. It was not in any way special or large. The walls were wall-papered with several different colors and the furnishings were decent but again nothing special. The TV was a flat screen style. The comforter on the bed was decent but the sheets were very plain. The rugs were OK. There was a coffee maker in the room that you had to pay extra to use. And there were snacks in a drawer that you had to pay a premium to take/eat. There was WiFi available, also for an extra charge. The bottled water would also cost you extra. The view was of a parking garage. The bathroom was slightly above average in style but smelled slightly of mold and had an extremely poor caulking job around the tub. The shower curtain was constantly falling off as the curtain hooks were all bent out of shape and failing. Shampoos and soaps were average. The bathroom door hinge was rusting away, and there was water damage to the inside of the bath door. Hallways were narrow and dirty looking.
Positives: Nice lobby.
Negatives: I was expecting some sort of luxury.

The hotel was beautiful, but I was not happy with pets having the run of the place. Parking was too high.
Positives: Very clean.
Negatives: Pets.

Two nights of listening to the load hum of the major roof mounted hvac equipment.
Positives: Staff was friendly and available.
Negatives: Our view was of a baracade 10 feet from the window that shielded the view, but not the sound, of major hvac equipment.

Great hotel, very clean and nice staff. Across from college campus. A few fast food restaurants were located nearby. A few miles from Downtown Nashville. Expensive self-park and expensive valet.
Positives: Nice hotel room, clean and
Negatives: Parking fee was expensive.

Nice property, upscale with convenient easy access.
Positives: There were eateries and things near by convenient location.
Negatives: Parking charge of 21.00 a day.

Overall, the hotel stay was just mediocre. At the front desk I asked where I should go for lunch and was told repeatedly that the hotel restaurant is very good, except I wanted to explore the city, not the hotel, which I expressed. Obviously, I wasn’t clear enough with my request. I will not be back. This hotel is overpriced and their customer service is mediocre at best.
Positives: Accommodating concierge.
Negatives: Certain amenities were not granted.

We were overall pleased with our hotel. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The beds were so very comfortable, and room service did not bother us in the morning. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Positives: The room was so quiet, and the bed was probably the most comfortable one we have ever had in our traveling experience.
Negatives: The cleaning service did not always leave what they were supposing to and we would have to call down to get it i.e. coffee, shower cap etc.

I would stay here again. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Room service was prompt and the quality of the food was very good. The location is excellent - easy to find.
Positives: Best Cobb salad I've ever had - room service was great!
Negatives: Parking is expensive

Overall great staff. Expensive self parking and room was okay. I have stayed at better Crown Plazas and Marriotts.
Positives: The warm reception.
Negatives: The air conditioner was broke and they had to give us another room.
