I was very satisfied and will recommend it to everyone.
Positives: Friendly staff and great shuttle service within a 5 mile radius.
Negatives: Drainage in the shower area.

The hotel is close to downtown but not close enough to walk, which was fine with us. They have a shuttle that will drop you off at a number of locations that we used the entire weekend. The hotel is clean, but it is older and in need of renovations. The staff was friendly and did a great job at making recommendations for dinner.
Positives: It was close to downtown without being in the middle of the madness.
Negatives: The hotel was clean, but definitely in need of renovations.

The hotel was beautiful. It was on the northern most edge of a safe neighborhood. Our room was handicap accessible so there was no bathroom counter. The bed was very springy and not very comfortable.
Positives: The lobby and appearance of the hotel was very nice.
Negatives: Our room was a handicap accessible which made it inconvenient for us (no bathroom counter, etc).

Check in was 3PM stood in line till 3:30 and was told since rooms they were not ready check back in 30 minutes. After going through the line 3 times and finally having a discussion with manager. They finally gave us rooms with two double beds instead of the king size we paid for. Time we finally got checked in was 6:15 PM.
Positives: Clean.
Negatives: Check In.

The hotel staff was friendly, and free parking was nice. But the AC was incredibly old and loud and kept me from sleeping. On a cold rainy day in Nashville, I tried to turn the heat on, and it set off the fire alarm in my room. So I remained cold.
Positives: Staff was friendly.
Negatives: Air conditioner was loud and woke me up all night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Maxwell House hotel, however it was a bit farther from downtown and Vanderbilt than we'd expected. The shuttle drivers were wonderful, but sometimes there was a lengthy wait for a shuttle, and thus we relied on cabs when we needed to get to an appointment on time. Rooms were clean, gym was nice, staff was friendly.
Positives: The complimentary shuttle drivers were very nice, as was the housekeeping, front desk and gift shop staffs.
Negatives: Decorative pillows in room and chair and ottoman in room looked worn.

I would recommend staying somewhere else. This is really a 2.5 star hotel. It is adequate, but not outstanding.
Positives: The lobby area is very nice. Parking is free.
Negatives: The box springs need to be replaced. The bathroom area needs to be updated. The pillows were not new and some smelled bad.

A nice hotel that was misleadingly listed as being in downtown Nashville. There is a free shuttle that goes between the hotel and the airport and also downtown. There were multiple communication breakdowns regarding when the shuttle would arrive. The worst instance left my husband and me waiting for an hour in 100 degree weather. They kept saying the shuttle would come in 5 minutes. Ultimately, we ended up riding the bus and walking back. We spoke with the manager afterward, but the problems continued. I would stay there again, but only with a rental car.
Positives: Rooms were spacious and clean.
Negatives: The shuttle was nice, but there was no set schedule and uncertainty as to arrivals/departures.

The hotel was, beautiful the workers very nice.
Positives: It was a very pretty and clean hotel.
Negatives: The location was somewhat scary, not a good neighborhood.

The shuttle into downtown Nashville stopped running at 10:00 p.m. I booked this room because I was going to utilize the shuttle service at night. Nashville has a late night life and they need to figure this out to be competitive with other hotels closer to downtown! You had to pay for every convenience afforded in lower quality hotels, like use of computers for Internet access in the business center. The TV/cable service was not fully functioning and you had to pay for movies.
Positives: The room was nice with a good view and the pool was nice.
Negatives: The shuttle into downtown Nashville stopped running at 10:00 p.m. You had to pay for every convenience afforded in lower quality hotels.

Mattresses/pillows/linens poor quality. I felt like the hotel had been a great place in it's day but now has been shoddily "fixed up" to look good on the surface. Very disappointing.
Positives: Location off interstate was very good.
Negatives: Air Conditioning was poor quality-lots of humidity and stale smells. Bathroom was gross with chunks of caulking around tub and floor.

Our group enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely look into staying at this hotel again if we came back to Nashville. The rooms seemed to be very clean and had lovely decor.
Positives: Convenient and Clean.
Negatives: Hallways seemed to be much warmer than rest of the hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. It met all our needs, very friendly staff, nice lobby, lounge and pool area and shuttle service was great.
Positives: The lobby, the lounge with live music, the free shuttle to downtown and the airport, the pool area was nicer than i expected, the room was fine.
Negatives: The bathroom needs updating, the carpet in the hallway was stained, free wifi would have been nice.

The shower leaked water from poor fitting curtain after each & every shower. Water soaked bathroom floor, soaked carpet area<BR/>outside bathroom! The water would not drain from tub, so during shower had to stand in dirty tub water! Disgusting and unacceptable. There was a hole in the wall from doornob. The girl at front desk was cold when she found out we used priceline to book our room. Like we were 2nd rate citizens.
Positives: The breakfast.
Negatives: Tub would not drain during shower. Water all over bathroom floor after shower. Hole in wall from doorknob.

Over all I really enjoyed my stay here. The decor was modern and very nice and the staff was very helpful.
Positives: The courtesy van was fantastic! totally made up for the distance for downtown! I didn't drive all weekend!
Negatives: I wish the Internet wasn't 10 dollars a day! And the onsite gift store was insane about their prices!

The hotel looks like something you would expect from a 3-star hotel, until you get to the rooms themselves. I found that the beds sit very low and the mattress felt worn out and lumpy. I also found the bathroom to be very confined and there were stains in my bath tub. I definitely think this hotel should lose a star or two.
Positives: The shuttle service.
Negatives: Stains in the bath tub, and worn out mattresses.

The Maxwell House Millennium is a decent hotel, just a bit off the beaten path for a downtown/Vanderbilt hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The public places were tastefully decorated for Christmas. The rooms are generally very nice, but the bathrooms are in need of renovation.
Positives: The public spaces were nicely decorated, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Negatives: The rooms, especially the bathrooms, could use an update/renovation.

Good hotel. Could use some updating.
Positives: Spacious rooms.
Negatives: Older decor.

Overall experience good. Did expect hot water no matter what time of the day and given the quality of this hotel did not expect to pay for Internet service. More for the business traveler than a family vacation.
Positives: Safe, clean.
Negatives: No hot water at 9:00 in the morning. Double size beds, had to pay for Internet.

Very nice motel with good location;however, If our room was any indication of the rest of the motel some major renovation is needed to keep rating and justify rates.
Positives: Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Outside sitting area.
Negatives: Vending area 2nd floor like a dungeon.

My stay was great overall. My only real complaint is that the walls were a bit thin. Walking through the hallway, it was easy to hear what was going on in the rooms around you. The biggest problem was that my neighbors were noisy bar patrons who came in after last call. They were quiet in the hallway, but I could hear their late night conversations. My solution was to turn on some quiet music in my room. Once I did, all was well and I had a great two nights' sleep!
Positives: The staff and facilities were fantastic.
Negatives: No free Internet, thin walls.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was excellent! Loved the friendliness! We would definitely stay here again!
Positives: Loved the staff! so very friendly!
Negatives: The bathroom was small and seemed a bit old and not as clean as I would have liked.

Great hotel with a very friendly staff. It was located a few miles from downtown, however free parking and free transportation to and from downtown made up for this. I will stay here again in the future.
Positives: Free parking, friendly staff, free transportation.
Negatives: Nothing.

This hotel was awesome. Upscale furnishings & down to earth but professional staff. My next visit to Nashville will include this hotel on my itenerary.
Positives: Upscale feel & super clean. Front desk staff friendly
Negatives: Pillows were hard as a rock, mattresses great

It was nothing like any other Millennium I have ever stayed at. Lobby looks nice, but that is where is stops. Rooms are very dated and dirty. Paint and Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Moldy/Musty smell and the bathroom was tiny and always wet. Would not recommend. Very noisy at night due to poor closing doors and large gaps under the doors.
Positives: Free shuttle.
Negatives: Everything else dirty and noisy.

The rooms need to be updated, and stained carpet.

The room was small, the bathroom was even smaller, the vanity area was extremely small. The bathtub drain was very slow. I will not stay there again.

Negatives: Small room and old!

Nice hotel, staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping staff gave special treatment to my kids' blankets and pillows; it made them feel special.

Around the bathroom corners looked dirty and the stain on the carpet was large. Bathroom area was crowded. Beds were not comfortable.
Positives: Beautiful Lobby.
Negatives: Small room, bath and horrible, large stain on carpet.

I love the Maxwell House overall. I've stayed there before and it was pretty much the same as I remembered it - only the bed in our room was JUST TERRIBLE - VERY hard to get a good nights sleep. We went to another hotel for our third night for that reason. The elevators were having glitches while I was there too - but there were 3, so everyone just used the ones that were working on any given day.
Positives: The view from out room was lovely, and the pool was clean.
Negatives: Our bed was TERRIBLE - we could feel the springs through the VERY well worn mattress.

For the money, OUTSTANDING. Free shuttle to airport/downtown, friendly staff, nice pool. Better than it had to be!
Positives: Twelve stories make for an excellent view of town!
Negatives: Second time we've stayed here, and both times a major renovation was taking place (lobby was getting carpeted after flooding).

Excellent value for our money. Two miles from downtown.
Positives: Friendly service.
Negatives: Needs new mattresses and some updating.

This hotel is not even close to downtown. I couldn't even see downtown from the hotel's 5th floor! The staff could not give directions and they changed the street name that the hotel is located.
Positives: Leaving.
Negatives: Location.

The hotel was nice and well situated, the rooms were comfortable and large enough. But the fact that they were still charging $10 a day for wireless Internet access seemed unnecessary.
Positives: The rooms were comfortable and large, I liked the view over the city from my window.
Negatives: Till charging for wireless access, no fridge in the room.

We received 2 double beds rather than a king size bed. It cost $9.95 per day to use Wi-Fi (this is free at Days Inn Hotels). This was not in Downtown Nashville, but outside of downtown. I have stayed at the Millennium in Durham, NC and this was nothing like it.
Positives: Fitness center was nice.
Negatives: No free WiFi. You had to pay for it.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I'm handicapped (physically) & the desk clerk gave us a large room that was easy for me to move around in with my walker & the elevators made access to the room great.
Positives: Was elegant and handicap accessable.
Negatives: Music in bar-restaraunt was tnago & was way too loud to enjoy our meal, prices of food were high

This place is okay. It looks to be fairly well kept up. There were tons of people staying there on a Wednesday night, so it must fairly okay. They have a free shuttle, but it looked to be a giant burden (Due to lots of people) so I just drove. They have a music theme, but it is weak. Kind of in a so so area. The carpet was all fuzzy and torn in the room, the drain was very slow, the TV only got a handful of channels, and the Internet was not free.
Positives: Honestly, nothing stands out. The TV maybe.
Negatives: Very slow shower drain, frayed carpet, Internet was not free, sink by the entrance door, not in bathroom.

I thought the hotel was not the star class it was supposed to be. The lobby was nice but when we got to the room the bathroom looked trashy. The toilet ran all night long and was annoying. The lady at the front desk was very rude. We were supposed to stay at the hotel 2 nights and after the first one decided to change hotels and stayed at a 4 star hotel for the price of this hotel.

Positives: The location was easy to find and access.
Negatives: I didn't like the room,

Overall, the hotel seemed nice. It had been remodeled but could better bedding. Cleaning personnel did a good job in ensuring the room was cleaned timely daily.
Positives: Work out facility was nice with machines and some free weights.
Negatives: Put into a handicap room with limited counter space. Bed was small and not real comfortable. Parking was limited during our stay.

My hotel stay began with an easy check-in by a friendly staff member. I had an emergency and the staff quickly responded to a special-needs request. There is plenty of free parking spaces. The staff did a good job of cleaning the rooms. Fluffy towels always make my day. There was a nice robe, too, though I didn't need it. It was a special touch, nonetheless.

Positives: Clean rooms, big towels, location and friendly staff.
