Positives: Beautiful hotel with great view.
Negatives: Easy to get lost.

Exceeded my expectation for the price I paid. Great hotel and staff. Had to change rooms due to rowdy kids next door staying for a basketball tournament but the staff moved me to a different floor with no questions asked and even met me at my new room with the key. Keep up the good work.
Positives: I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel and felt safe staying there. A++++
Negatives: Not within walking distance to any restaurants or entertainment.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a good view of the city from our room. It was located close to the places we wanted to go shopping and dining. We will definitely visit this hotel again when we return to Memphis.
Positives: The hotel was very nice for the price we paid. It was a very elegant hotel.
Negatives: The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave.

This hotel has seen better days. I'd say that the upper floors are better than the lower ones.
Positives: Nice looking from the outside.
Negatives: The room smelled like a monkey house in a zoo.

Very nice hotel. Service was efficient and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. The tub did have trouble draining. It was a short stay, but the common area seemed nice.
Positives: The bed was very comfortable, one of the best ever at a hotel.
Negatives: It was a little difficult to find and get to from the freeway.

The overall hotel is nice, but my experience was negative for two reasons. First when I arrived after a 10 hour drive the room that I reserved was not ready and the staff could not, would not provide an ETA for room availability. Secondly, when I was honest enough to say that I was traveling w/pets I was informed that I would have to wait for a room on the floor designated for pets and there was no guarantee that I would receive the type of room that I requested. I truly don't see what the extra pet fee is for as it was not evident that extra cleaning takes place. Stepping off of the elevator the carpet had stains and the room smelled like pets. If I had known that you are downgraded and treated like a second class citizen for traveling w/pets I would have booked at this hotel. The staff was aware of my unhappiness with the room delay and were kind enough to not charge the pet fee, but it was nonetheless hard to rest in a room that smelled like pets (I tend to keep my animals very clean). I suggest that any hotel that allows pets not have carpeting in the hallway or rooms and also, provide cleaning supplies in your hallway so the designated area is more clean and presentable.
Positives: The bell man was very friendly.
Negatives: The floor designated for guests with pets was sub par. Wish that this was mentioned before I traveled w/pets.

The lobby was very cute and clean as well as the room. Walls were kind of thin though.
Positives: Everything was great. The bed was very comfortable.
Negatives: No continental breakfast. Not enough towels.

2nd time in this hotel, very nice, only two complaints are that I can always smell smoke in my room when AC used, wireless Internet has a fee and most do not charge now. Other than that, I would most likely return.
Positives: Very comfy bed.
Negatives: Smoke odor on non-smoking floors. $ for Internet use.

I reserved, and paid in full for a king deluxe room in July for this past weekend. This was to be part of a birthday surprise weekend for my fiancé. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm on Saturday, only to be told that there were no rooms available at the moment. They then informed us, very rudely and almost as if they found the whole situation to be funny, that they were unable to give us a time frame as to when a room would be available. The lobby area was full of guests waiting for rooms as well, so we decided to wait in the car. We had a reserved car coming to pick us up at 8:30pm to take us to the destination of the second portion to my birthday surprise. I went in and spoke with the front desk at 6:00pm to see if they were any closer to getting us a room. I explained to them again our situation, and asked if we were going to be in the room with enough time to shower and prepare for our night out. I was once again told that they could not give me that information, and they would call me as soon as our room was available. At 7:15pm we finally brought our belongings into the hotel, and were forced to forfeit our shower and get prepared for the night in the bathroom of the lobby. I decided to check one more time with the front desk at 8:20 to see if they made any headway into getting a room ready for us. The girl at the front desk then informed me that our room was available and that we should have received a phone call. No phone call was made to us, however. We ran our belongings up to the room only to realize that they had given us a lower grade room. We placed our belongings into the room because there was no time to complain at that point & rushed downstairs to meet the car. We were truly looking forward to an afternoon of romance & relaxation; enjoying all of the amenities that the hotel had to offer such as the pool, hot tub & the view from our room. Most upsetting to us, they never even offered an apology for the inconvenience that was caused. I am very disappointed and will NEVER waste my time booking a room with them again!
Positives: Great location.
Negatives: 5 hour wait to check in, rude staff, dirty rooms, an absolute waste of money!

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. We were visiting Memphis with our two children and this was really a top notch hotel. There is a pool and hot tub and a great Lake Gazebo that was fun for the kids. Also a high-tech weight room. Hotel is about 20 min. from downtown, but was a nice and safe location for us. Highly recommend to all types of travelers!
Positives: Great staff and place to stay.
Negatives: Nothing.

This hotel was conveniently located and I was very pleased with the safety both indoors and on the premises. The rooms were gorgeously decorated and incredibly comfortable. I was fortunate to have a view of the ducks swimming in the pond outside my window. Customer service was definitely on point. This is my second stay here and it will not be my last!
Positives: The interior design, cleanliness and comfort was awesome!
Negatives: Just wish it had a microwave & minifridge in the rooms.

Loved this hotel and would stay here again, anytime!
Positives: The room was beautiful.
Negatives: It is kind of hard to find, but the location is very nice.

Hotel had nice facilities except for a small roach in the shower, and there was a grease stain on the comforter. Parking is always a problem unless you want to pay $8.00 for valet parking, unused spaces are a distance away. We had a small problem reaching the second floor on the elevator.
Positives: Location, pool surrounding hotel was nice, comfortable bed, enjoyed flat screen TV.
Negatives: Parking and found a roach in the shower, comforter had grease stains.

The overall appearance of the hotel seemed very nice. However, rooms need additional sound proofing as noises from adjoining rooms and hallways can be heard.
Positives: Ample parking, good location.
Negatives: Rooms are not well insulated, noise carries from adjoining rooms and hallway.

I was extremely happy with the Memphis Hilton. The staff made me feel at home. The Rook's Nest restaurant had excellent and moderately priced food with an attentive and friendly staff. The fitness room was by far one of the best that I have seen in a hotel. It has treadmills, elliptical trainers and bicycles all with their own video monitor and headphone jack. Headphones were provided. My kudos to the hotel management!
Positives: The staff was fantastic - very friendly, helpful, efficient.
Negatives: The business center could use more detailed instructions for connecting to the printer.

Everything good except bath tub was dirty and behind nightstand on floor was very dirty as I noticed when looking for a plug.
Positives: Very nice decor.
Negatives: Water pressure and only one washcloth was provided.

Positives: Beautiful facility.
Negatives: No free wireless.

Very nice business hotel but it is a bit far from downtown.
Positives: Rooms were updated and very nice. Lots of parking and easy access from the airport.
Negatives: The pool changing rooms were not nice. Entrance to pool was strange.

Cool round hotel with fabulous windows and a great outdoor pool area. Little tricky getting to off of the main freeway exits but not bad.
Positives: Great room windows.
Negatives: Two queen beds would have been nice.

This was the best hotel stay I have ever had. Everything was perfect. The staff went over and beyond the call of duty. I hit a curb as I pulled into a parking spot and tore a hole in the side of the tire. Two employees stopped and changed my tire for me. It was hot, the trunk was full of stuff, etc. They were finished in about 10 minutes but it changed a disaster into a wonderful beginning of my visit.
Positives: It was beautiful, staff was wonderful.
Negatives: Not possible, I liked everything.

This was a very good hotel. Clean, guest friendly and the rooms were large and comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Positives: Very good experience.
Negatives: No problems or issues.

This is a first-class hotel with friendly staff and elegant surroundings. The rooms are elegant, and the lobby has a hip, upscale vibe. The one negative is that the carpet needs to be replaced throughout the hallways leading to the rooms. It's a stain on an otherwise unblemished canvas. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Positives: Very friendly staff and super comfortable bed in elegant room.
Negatives: Dirty carpeting in upstairs hallways.
