Aside from the smell of the room, it was very accessible, the staff was pleasant & friendly And if you travel with pets, this place is perfect for them.
Positives: as microwave, fridge, & Wi-Fi.
Negatives: Again, the room smelled like the previous people smoke cigarettes.

From the outside it looked good. Landscaped, etc. When we walked in the door our jaws dropped. I wouldn't call it dirty (though that is how my husband described it). I would call it dingy, run-down.
Positives: Good neighborhood.
Negatives: Dingy run-down room.

This motel needs to be rated as a 1 star only. This is the poorest we've stayed in.
Positives: Fair location.
Negatives: Very small room-no ice ( had to leave motel to get ice!)

Room very small, mini fridge with no ice. No tub shower only. Did enjoy full cable TV and the staff was very helpful and friendly with any request we made.
Positives: Full cable TV.
Negatives: No tub, shower only. 30 minutes timer for stove countertop, mini fridge.

Suburban extended stay in Memphis, TN was not only the worst hotel that I've stayed at in quite sometime but the staff was argumentative and did not want to help at all to make me happy & I'm the customer. Overall, I will never stay at one ever again.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The rooms were tiny, the staff was rude.

They were unwilling to give us a non-smoking room unless we downgraded to one full bed. When we got to the room it was in shambles with no sheets on the bed and trash everywhere. And when they gave us a new room (which was also supposed to be non-smoking) it had a terrible cigarette smell and had clearly been smoked in. Also, the AC was broken so that it was stuck on the coldest setting at full speed making the room freezing cold. All of this was difficult when traveling with a 5 month-old baby. Finally, despite the fact that Bartlett looks like a nice place to stay, the hotel was so far out of the way that it was in an area that was not so nice and we didn't feel safe. I wish I could say something positive, but there is simply nothing to say.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Roaches, incompetent staff, and a un-prepared room.

For jut me it was nice, and I would go there again.

Negatives: Too small.

Suburban Inn was horrible. The office reeked of smoke, had filth and sticky substances on the counter during check-in. The employees were not professional nor had uniforms on to easily recognize they were employees. The room should have been condemned by the Centers for Disease Control. The shower was disgusting, who knows when it last really got clean. The lamp shades had stains on them. The lamp Shades! It was an odd brown/red stain. The blinds were coated in nastiness. The furniture, bed, amenities looked as though they were pulled out of San Ford and Son's junkyard. Do not stay at the anything named or owned by Suburban Extended Stays!
Positives: I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. It was awful.
Negatives: It was dirty, smelled of smoke, had numerous unknown stains on lamps.

I like the hotel for quick business travels. Price just right. The hotel was very clean and located in a very nice area. I would use this hotel again.
Positives: Clean, nice area and workers helpful.
Negatives: The mattress was not comfortable and there needs to be a comfortable chair in the room for sitting.

Friendly staff but needs more attention to details.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Got smoking room, no trash cans, asked for towels, sink clogged.

Once I got to the hotel (after driving a lot out of the way) the staff were courteous and tried to make it as comfortable as possible but it was still not a 2 star hotel. The beds were musty and the room I stayed in had some lovely surprises in the fridge.
Positives: The staff was courteous and tried to do their best with what they had.
Negatives: It was very remote and hard to get to.

It is convenient to wolf chase mall and eating facilities. The window unit air conditioner and bugs were the chief complaints. I bought bug killer and sprayed around our beds and the windows.
Positives: Staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives: .air conditioner smelled bad and caused my sinuses to be stuffed up.

Between the nasty bathroom, saggy bed, and flat pillows, I had 2 sleepless nights.
Positives: The location was good.
Negatives: The rate was for a very basic standard room and I had to pay extra for another bed.

Negatives: Small, old rooms. No Wife (wasn't working due to storms).

If you like to be left alone and you do not mind a hotel that is somewhat less clean than your average Holiday Inn, then this might be the place for you. The service at the hotel was rather poor, but the intent access, the microwave, mini fridge, and kitchenette might be good for business travelers who plan on staying for a while. The location was good for those who were planning on shopping or visiting relatives in the Cordovan or Bartlett area, but pretty far from downtown and Midtown. Overall, we did not like it much. They told us we had a queen sized bed and it wasn't. The towels were too small and the room was just not right for a married couple visiting relatives in the East Memphis area. We would go back there.
Positives: The price was very cheap.
Negatives: Service was bad and the room was not very nice.

Generally, the suburban is good stay and worth the cost.
Positives: I like the kitchen stuff and ferriage.
Negatives: The cleanliness is too bad.
