It is surrounded by history, nestled between the prestigious Lewis Reeves Sams’ house ca. 1852 and film location for the Prince of Tides and on the other side is The Thomas Hepworth House ca. 1717, the oldest house in Beaufort. From our verandahs there are river views, and our lush garden and trees provide a natural habitat for a large variety of birds.
We provide detailed tourist maps which enable guests to take a leisurely self-guided tour around the Beaufort historical district. Moreover, The Old Point Inn is only a block away from the downtown shops, art galleries, restaurants and Waterfront Park.
