Like many 2 star hotels in New England it was older. Many of these 2 star hotels seem to attract a larger percentage of smokers than 3 star or higher. Because of the age of the buildings, over the years just about all rooms were smoking rooms. So, on the one hand this was a disappointment, but on the other hand I've run into this before. Also, they charged my credit card for the room even though it had been charged to my credit card by Priceline.<BR/>I called them this morning when<BR/>I saw the charges on my credit card statement on line and they did reverse the charge immediately.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Providence En Route to NYC. It was new, clean, modern and comfortable. It included breakfast. This was a great value and I would pick it again if in the same location - near TF Green airport.
Positives: Exceeded expectations for the price. Great value.

Decent business stay, price should have been lower, mold in shower, early breakfast and newspaper was good, comfortable bed, dark dirty looking hall carpets, female friendly desk clerk and male grump desk clerk, a mixed experience.

Negatives: Black mold on shower soap dish, dirty looking hall and carpets.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were not the best, but that can be forgiven!

Good place to stay if you have an early flight; free airport shuttle made it very easy to get to the airport.

Liked this property, good price, great location to airport & freeways. Restaurants, mall close by. Room was great, large and comfy. Liked the lobby and the staff. Shuttle to/from airport.

Nice greeting upon check in. Friendly staff. Made request for luggage rack and additional chair, but no response - guess they "forgot. Thankful for inquiry by Manager when exiting hotel as seem genuine.

My experience with this hotel was pleasant. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to questions asked. It was very close to the airport and the complimentary shuttle was helpful as well.

Most La Quinta Inn's are very appealing. This one needed a little more TLC in the bedroom. The staff was friendly and assisted in our problems in a timely manner when there were issues with other guests.
Positives: The staff was friendly but hard to communicate with housekeeping.
Negatives: Our bathroom floor was dirty and one of the beds had stains.

Good for business travelers or casual travelers to Providence area. Commute to downtown Providence is about 10 minutes. Facilities clean and La Quinta provides a computer in lobby for complimentary 15-minute internet access and a great breakfast. The rooms could look nicer, but are very comfortable. 2-2.5 stars.

The hotel hallways and our room smelled like smoke, even though smoking was not allowed in the space. Used towels were also left on the floor in the bathroom of our room, after it had been cleaned.
