Check-in was easy and I was able to get in at 12:00. Very helpful with questions about the area.
Positives: Convenient to Downtown and bus available across the street.
Negatives: A little musty smelling.

Clean, comfy, no bed-bugs! Affordable, and a great last minute option.
Positives: Comfy.
Negatives: No computer.

My boyfriend and I are in a tight spot financially, but had to travel for a friend's wedding. This was a close by, super affordable alternative to the location where the wedding was being held. The staff was personable and helpful. If your hotel is more than just where you crash, this isn't the place to stay. Room looked like it hadn't been revamped since the 80s. Not many amenities, but for a decent bed and a smoking room in 2010, it was ok. My major issue was upon leaving, I noticed one of my bags was crawling with ants.
Positives: Good locations, great price for area.
Negatives: Outdated.

While the staff are as helpful as possible, based on the quality of this property, the motel itself is worn out and tired.
Positives: Personnel are helpful and responsive.
Negatives: Black mold in the shower. Towel rack partly missing.

Directions to the hotel were bad, so it's difficult to find unless you know the area. The room had clean beds, but that was just about it. The walls were torn and rundown, the heater was good but made the room stuffy. There weren't enough outlets to support all of the appliances in the room. There was no blow dryer or iron / ironing board. The front door had no additional locks. I felt very unsafe. The curtains wouldn't close all the way. The microwave wouldn't work looks like the appliances were all purchased in the 70's. No heat in the bathroom, the only heater was a wall heater that was supposed to heat the entire room, so good. Definitely not somewhere you'd bring your family to stay here only as a very last resort and you have nowhere else to stay.
Positives: Wireless internet was good so was the water pressure.
Negatives: Everything else.

The hotel was reasonable and met my expectations.
Positives: The hotel had everything I needed and free WiFi.
Negatives: There was no breakfast included.

The hotel was very nice to stay in, a little more costly than what Priceline says but well worth it, If your looking for a good cheap stay this is where to go, cheap being low priced and nice. Very nice managers also.
Positives: Very private.
Negatives: No HBO false advertisement.

The hotel was comfortable for its price bracket. Management remained helpful for the duration of our stay, including providing me with thread for a quick repair. A bonus was plentiful, hot water for showering. My husband and I were thrilled with this.
Positives: The staff was excellent.
Negatives: Proximity to the naval base means the internet is blocked.

Room was comfy enough but outdated. Very convenient location near shops and restaurants. Hotel seems to be a haven for local homeless/poor. Had an unsettling knock on the door at 4 a.m. and couldn't see through the peephole. All in all though, would probably stay again solely for the price.
Positives: Bed was comfy but bring extra pillows.
Negatives: Undesirables in other rooms made the stay less comfortable.

Large, clean rooms. Conveient parking. A little bit of a drive outside Newport itself, but it is great value for money all the same.
Positives: Convenient parking outside the hotel rooms with good, large rooms.
Negatives: Not within walking distance of Newport town center.

The motel is clean but pretty cheesy. There are absolutely no amenities to speak of. Just a place to crash. Very possible that there was some fishy business deals going on next door. State police came through...
Positives: Location to downtown - only $9 cab ride.
Negatives: Very cheesy - no deal whatsoever - I paid $60 and that's what it costs to stay there!!!
