We fell in love with Potteiger House from the first visit and saw immediately within the walls and gardens the place where our dreams would come true.With each passing year and each moment shared with our wonderful guests we are ever more gratified by our experience. It remains our desire to pass along to each of our guests the special Potteiger House contentment we feel every day. We have taken great care to preserve the atmosphere of comfortable elegance the home acquired in its prior life as home to two generations of the Potteiger family. The downstairs common areas are open and spacious. Guests often relax by the fireplace in the living room or enjoy a spring or early autumn afternoon in the sunroom. The guestrooms are all named for the artists whose work appears in each room and are finely appointed with artwork and antiques.
