In the front desk area where the free continental breakfast area is they had rubbage in the way. (Large pieces of wood, etc.) Smelly room, nasty room.
Positives: The front desk clerk was nice.
Negatives: Dirty, bad area, room smelled, needed cleaning and updating.

A fine value for business traveler or someone wanting to be near the airport for travel.

Located in the middle of nowhere; taxi service was absolutely awful.

The hotel was very clean; the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The cheap price included internet, cable TV and breakfast. I was on town to take an early flight at the airport and the hotel it's close to it.
Positives: The room was very clean and it's really close to the airport.
Negatives: It wasn't any signal showing where the hotel was.

I enjoyed the stay at this economic. The only thing that I found that I did not like is one time the door sliding key would not work and also they locked me out because when I sign in they did not ask me to sign the receipt for the credit card that the room was being charged too, I found this quite annoying, like it was my fault.
Positives: Staff was friendly, location was great price was super.
Negatives: Their continental breakfast was not great.

The hotel was close to the downtown exits for Pittsburgh, which was nice. The room was a decent place to sleep.
Positives: The room had a refrigerator and microwave.
Negatives: The towel racks in our room were broken.

My wife and I had a great time at the Econolodge in Pittsburgh for 7 days. Our room was very clean and the cleaning staff were superb!!! The staff at the front desk were more willing to give us 110% service. No matter how busy they were, they always gave us the time of day to answer all of our questions. The included breakfast was very nice and the 24 hour-access computer in the lobby with high speed Internet access came in very handy. The manager of the hotel told us, as we were checking out, that they are in process of renovating and improving certain areas of the hotel. My wife and I left with the impression that they are very serious in revamping their establishment. I read some other reviews on the Internet and people were saying that it was dirty and smelly - well, in our view, Econolodge proved those other reviewers wrong. The price per night was amazing and we can't thank Econolodge enough for making our vacation a totally fun and memorable one! BRAVO!

Close to downtown Pittsburgh with shopping and site seeing, convenient location, friendly atmosphere.

This Motel would be a good place to stay if you have business in Pittsburgh.

I felt the room was very clean smelling. The staff was very helpful. The fridge and microwave were very nice and clean. The bed was firm and clean. Would recommend to other travelers. Close to Pittsburgh, only one exit away. King's Rest. next door open 24 hrs. Hotel had a small continental breakfast which was a nice touch. Would go back again.
