The Omni was a beautiful place to stay. The beds were super comfortable and everything in the room was high quality. The staff was very polite and helpful with giving directions and assisting with forgotten toiletries. The only complaint I have was that the valet brought the incorrect car 2 times in a row, but they were fine and quick about bringing the right one. Once I forgot something in my vehicle, and they even went to retrieve it for me from the garage.

Positives: Gorgeous lobby, the staff was incredibly polite and helpful.

Negatives: The valet brought me the wrong car 2 times.

Loved the hotel, but the hotel staff didn't understand the extra night booking and our keys were not valid, calls were told we had checked out etc. This was a big, no BIG problem!

Positives: Location, attractive and spacious rooms.

Negatives: The staff at the desk didn't seem to understand.

The Hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean. Check in was a mess however. Many rooms were not ready by check-in time. Customers were waiting all over the lobby. We had to take showers in the fitness center to make it in time our event that evening.

Positives: Very clean room. Beds were very comfortable.

Negatives: Check in was a mess. Rooms were not ready by check in time. Customers waiting all over lobby.

It was a clean and classy hotel located in the center of the city within walking distance to dining, the Warhol museum and Heinz field. It is a little more expensive than some others, but we were able to get a discount which made it a good deal.

Positives: It was a nicely renovated old style hotel with a good location.

Negatives: The lobby was not very well lighted.

The Omni William Penn is a remnant of the old guard. Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh's commercial district, it sits among steel Titan skyscrapers amidst the city's oldest quarter. The lobby is grand - three stories high with chandeliers the size of trucks. It's a great place to relax and has one of the better Starbucks around. Standard rooms are like suites, with walk in closets, full baths and plenty of room.

Positives: The rooms are huge, the lobby is grand.

Negatives: There was a teen volleyball conference in town.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 13 May 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

Very nice place to stay, lots of shops and restaurants on site

Positives: Very nice place, like the old architechture.

Negatives: It was not exactly where we wanted to be in the city.

Coming into the hotel is a lovely treat. There is a coffee shop in the lobby as well as a restaurant. The lobby restaurant is very customer friendly & they are good about allowing you to sit & be served in various areas of this lovely space. Our room was small, but it's an older hotel & the size didn't detract from our stay. The bathroom is a good size & we had a nice view of a green space w/a fountain. This hotel is convenient to a lot of area attractions & there is shopping & restaurants within walking distance. A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel.

Positives: Coming into the beautiful lobby set the tone for our stay.

Negatives: Front desk staff uniforms are ugly.

We were very pleased with our stay. Parking was convenient and inexpensive for the weekend. There were plenty of taxis outside for getting around town. The room was very nice, though a bit small. The hotel staff was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The lobby is beautiful.

Positives: Ornate, upscale and

Negatives: Smaller room.

Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh's business and shopping district, the Omni William Penn offers old-world romance and luxury coupled with convenience. The attentive, courteous staff met all stated needs with energy and conviction. While many of the rooms offer something less than a spectacular view, the in-room accommodations are well-appointed and comfortable.

Positives: The staff was attentive, courteous and informative.

Negatives: Unfortunately, the view from our room was unacceptable.
