In winter, a crackling fire in the marble fireplace beckons the visitor to the charming parlor to relax or enjoy a game of chess or bridge at the game table, while sipping on a complimentary glass of sherry or brandy. Weekdays, guests are served a continental breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice. Muffins are baked fresh daily. On weekends, guests enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. The 12 guest rooms have been carefully restored and exquisitely furnished with period furniture and authentic accessories to meet the most discriminating taste. In keeping with the custom of the Federal Period, the most luxurious accommodations are those closest to the first floor. Two of the bedrooms are arranged as suites with queen-size beds, full-size sofa beds, working fireplaces and whirlpool baths. One of the suites has an adjoining room available...if desired. All other bedrooms have either double or queen-size beds.
The downstairs meeting room at the Thomas Bond House Bed and Breakfast Inn is available for meetings and parties.
Parking is available next door at the Ritz parking garage for a daily rate of $18. The Innkeeper can make arrangements for guests to use the nearby health clubs for a moderate fee. The City Tavern is across the street. It is open for lunch and dinner, and serves traditional Colonial period fare.
