Didn't like the overall experience period. Clean your dirty bed sheets!
Positives: Fast overturning rooms (maid service.)
Negatives: The bed sheets and cost.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. We were visiting our son at Drexel. The curb appeal was nice along with the attractiveness of the lobby and other public areas. The room service trays were in the hall the entire time of our visit. One tray was there at our arrival and still there at our departure the next day! There really is no excuse for this kind of housekeeping. We also notice we couldn't control the AC/Heat either. We wanted to turn it off and couldn't. I understand the noise another reviewer mentioned from the unit now.
Positives: The bed linens were nice.
Negatives: Dirty room service trays in hallway.

Negatives: The construction and painting in the bathroom was unfinished.

The hotel is very nice with spacious rooms and big comfortable beds with lots of pillows. It has a huge desk and a computer with Internet access in every room. The internet access on the computer is a bit slow though. The LCD TV is a nice size. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating and also has computers & a printer that you can use, as well as a table with plugs for guests using laptops.
Positives: I love that they have computers in every room and also free Internet access, and the ability to print from your room.
Negatives: No HBO. The bathroom is a bit smaller than some other hotels that I've stayed at.

This hotel was ok. It was very clean, but the staff wasn't super friendly. I wasn't knocked out.
Positives: It was very clean.
Negatives: The staff was cold.

This hotel was easy to find and had a convenient parking garage attached directly to it (which most hotels in the area do not have). We were charged $20/day for parking but it was well worth it. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. We had a couple of minor maintenance items but we didn't tell them until checkout. We asked for 2 interconnecting rooms with 2 double-beds in each room. They were very accommodating.
Positives: Location, Priceline price, comfortable beds/pillows.
Negatives: Toilet didn't flush well; lock on door didn't work well.

We stayed for 1 night as my daughter was playing in a sporting event at a local university. The hotel room was well-suited for a business traveler with a nice desk set up. The TV was very nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was nice. I have been staying at some very nice hotels lately so I am bit spoiled, but the Sheraton was OK.
Positives: It was very close to college campus. Self garage parking connected to the hotel was convenient as it was raining outside.
Negatives: The breakfast buffet was expensive for what is often free at other hotels, but it was convenient and good. Comically in the Asian restaurant.

My partner and I stayed here and not only did they check us in promptly, the room was clean, the front desk staff was very helpful with navigating us around the neighborhood and answered all our questions with sincere desire to help. The bed was very comfy and the location was within walking distance to many services, bars and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Positives: The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and kind.
Negatives: Room phones did not work.

First, the elevators were old, dirty, and rickety - as though they had forgotten about them in the renovations. The carpet in the room was full of stains. The overall sense was that cleaning was a low priority.
Positives: Very comfortable and clean bed.
Negatives: The bed was the only thing that was clean and/or comfortable.

The Sheraton in University City Philadelphia is a conveniently located hotel, next two two universities. It is also close to the Amtrak station. Accommodations are excellent and the staff was most helpful.
Positives: Convenient location, lovely room!
Negatives: I was happy with the choice.

Great hotel in the U of Penn area. Comfortable beds. Internet access and computer in the room. A little pricey especially during peak periods like graduation week. Nice outdoor pool for an in city location.
Positives: Internet access in room; flat screen TV.
Negatives: Nothing it was fine.

Under remodeling on some floors, (noisy during the day) no laundry facilities. Overpriced (next to University of Penn.). Staff was efficient but I would not describe them as warm.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: NA.

It was a pleasant place. Parking was nasty, but that is everywhere in the city. The lobby decor was nice but the rooms were dated and worn out. There was a lot of noise, trash trucks, sirens, doors slamming, voices.
Positives: The restaurant was nice.
Negatives: The room decor was dated and worn.

Negatives: Wake up call was late.

This was unlike any other Sheraton in which I've stayed. The room was tiny & dirty; we saw a couple of small bedbugs. We ordered room service 5 times - not once was it delivered correctly. Had to hold on the phone for long periods of time to order room service & for concierge/housekeeping requests.
Positives: In & out privileges in parking garage.
Negatives: Bed bugs - room filthy & very, very small.

Overall, we had a good experience.
Positives: Convenience to locations we were visiting.
Negatives: I was not expecting a double bed, thought it would be a queen.

Mostly typical of an older Sheraton property: Nice, traditionally-decorated lobby and somewhat updated guest rooms with good, non-Center City Philadelphia location. Wear and tear throughout a little more noticeable that I expected, but it was the gaps in service that really surprised me: my room not being made up on two days until after 2 p.m.; a tray of obviously used glassware and utensils left in the room after housekeeping had come and gone twice; disinterested and uninvolved attendant in the club floor breakfast room with meager breakfast items that ran out early (virtually down to crumbs before 8 a.m. ).
Positives: Good location in University City; easy walk into Center City Philadelphia and to train station.
Negatives: Slack service all around, though front desk team was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was in a great location for Drexel U and UPenn. It was out of the way for our experience, but was worthwhile for the price.
Positives: People very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Small room, no refrigerator or safe in room.

The Sheraton was clean and staff was very friendly.
Positives: Close the colleges.
Negatives: Not all rooms have internet.

We love the parking option for this hotel since the city is so hard to park in. Being located in University City, walking to and from places was easy and convenient, especially knowing our car was safe.
Positives: Great beds and pillows! Having internet in the room was exceptional! We will be back!
Negatives: Set up of the room (1 queen bed) was hard to walk around in with computer desk so close to bed.

For a well known hotel I was very disappointed at the way customer relations were performed.
Positives: The food and location.
Negatives: Customer Service was horrible.
