Perfect, except for mold in closet and possibly carpets.

Positives: Historic, and beautiful.

Negatives: Room was beautiful, but black mold in closet ceiling tiles. Had trouble bathing but it was too late in the nigh it to change rooms.

My boyfriend and I were just looking to get away for a night and this was a great hotel at a great value through Priceline. The view from the upstairs bar was amazing and everyone on the staff was very friendly.

Positives: Great location, great rooms with

Negatives: The ATM downstairs not working.

There's still a beautiful hotel here, but the management of it is flagging a good bit. They need to throw some money into the place and get it back to prime shape. it's a tired old lady of a hotel, I'm sorry to say.

Positives: Grand old hotel, spacious rooms, piece of history.

Negatives: It's getting tired. The upkeep is not up to snuff. Star level is overrated.

The hotel was PERFECT for our trip. My best friend and I went to Philly to see Slightly Stopped. We stayed in one of the most beautiful and historic hotels in Philly. The staff were amazing, the room was perfect, the bed was comfy, and the pool was awesome. 1st class all the way.

Positives: Location, size of room, view from room, and the pool.

Negatives: Stain on the carpet, so petty!

We loved this hotel, it was perfect for a romantic getaway with my husband! We were steps away from the subway and just a short subway ride from the sports complex. The rooms were furnished very well, and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in at a hotel! I would highly recomend this to friends!

Positives: This was such a perfect hotel for a romantic getaway for me and my husband and so luxuious!

Negatives: We had to pay almost $30 to park overnight, and we had to pay extra for WiFi

Came to this hotel for as bachlorette party and had a great time! Staff gave us a 2 rooms that connected in the middle and it was very useful! Hotel staff were very nice when we asked them how to get to our dinner reservations.

Positives: Very spacious, and had very kind staff.

Negatives: Only one set of elevators that sometimes took a while to get.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. You feel like a part of history staying there. Love the old charm and elegance. Want to go back and stay longer.

Positives: The room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable. Great atmosphere! The 19th floor lounge is a must see.

Negatives: There wasn't a hairdryer in the room.

This is a large beautiful older hotel with lots of charm. We loved the super soft bed and flat screen TV. The staff and locals were friendly and helpful. The in room coffee was gross. Didn't get to use or see all of the hotel amenities, because we spent our time out and about. Overall we were satisfied.

Positives: Convenient to upscale shopping.

Negatives: Some noise ie: banging doors loud plumbing, AC never got supercold.

This hotel was very elegant and the few staff we dealt with were very nice and welcoming. The only thing that detracted from the hotel was the layout. It was a little confusing and the main elevators in the building led right into a ballroom (luckily nothing was going on). Within walking distance of South Street and Chinatown.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Layout was confusing and elevator was scary.

Beautiful old school hotel in the center of Philly. Large rooms with very high ceilings.

Positives: Beautiful room with 12 foot ceilings!

Negatives: Pool is not family friendly - limited hours for kids and very limited section for kids.

Positives: The decor and spacious room.

Negatives: Parking was expensive.

The hotel was very nice for an older hotel. The room and walkways were outdated (felt like I walked into the 70's). The pillows were like concrete and I wasn't able to get a good night's sleep. There wasn't a do not disturb sign available so we were awoken by room service once we were able to get comfortable. The service was great and the hotel was very clean. The location is great - you can't beat it.

Positives: Great location and service

Negatives: The pillows were like concrete and no do not disturb sign available.

Positives: Large rooms, very clean employees and very helpful.

Negatives: Entrance at the back of a long alley.

Great hotel but in case of emergency they should make communication with lobby accessible, had to call 911 to find out if there was a fire or not!

Positives: Great location, lovely, older, renovated hotel.

Negatives: Someone pulled the fire alarm at 2 a.m. and no one would answer the lobby phone!

Hotel was great, but they told us we had free internet, but we didn't. Also, I know the hotel provides robes, but we didn't have any in our room. I really could have used one.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: No robes in room.

Hotel is beautiful - I like a design. At the same time my room was not clean.

Positives: Great location!

Negatives: My room was not clean and flushing system was broken.

My overall experience was nice, but not the best. This Hyatt is one of the most outdated Hyatt's I have been to. Rickety elevators, off pattern and decor with overall scheme, and wireless was not free. Not a bad place to crash for a night in Philly, but not a place to impress a guest either.

Positives: The bed was amazing.

Negatives: Mini bar is too pricey, no complimentary water either.

Absolutely amazing hotel, location. Valet parking, bellman, high end shopping on main floor of lobby. Excellent location for parents taking seniors on college tours. Staff helpful with maps, University information, Internet available. Staff went out of their way to assist us in every way possible. Had my twin HS seniors with me to go on visit to UPENN. Very close to school. Great Philadelphia location. Just a fabulous "vacation-like" feel during a stressful time in life! Highly recommend to other college-seeking parents and seniors as well!

Positives: 5 Star in every way! Cleanliness, room size and amenities. All!

Negatives: Nothing.
