The hotel is difficult to get to. Once you make it to the door and check in - you have to park forever way because there is a pond in front of the hotel. The guy who checked us in was polite. The shower did not drain - so we got a dirty bathroom. The doors were thin so we heard everything from outside. Since our room was near the atrium opening, we heard everything no matter what floor it was on. No mini fridge. I've stayed in Renaissance hotels in several different cities. They are normally very plush and you feel very special staying there thanks to the staff. This hotel did not meet any of the Renaissance standards.

Positives: Great pillows.

Negatives: This hotel does not live up to the Renaissance standards!

This hotel is horrible. It looks very attractive from the outside but it's a dump. The rooms are so cheesy, and the bed is average. Stay away!

Positives: l liked absolutely nothing about this hotel.

Negatives: The hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. The rooms are so modern and need to be updated. The shower didn't work properly.

This hotel is fair in my opinion. The hotel staff were polite. The rooms were small. Older TV and for the price I was expecting free internet service in all rooms but they were charging $13 a day

Positives: Convenient to airport and the city.

Negatives: For the price, I was expecting a better TV and free internet service.

Average quality room, nice bedding. Front desk guy was kind of a jerk.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: The hot tub was gross and smelly.

The hotel was nicely located, close to the Philadelphia airport and was convenient to access. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable but problems with the drainage of the bath tub and sink never got resolved over the two days we stayed there. At least one other guest appeared to have a similar experience. In addition, the heater could not get the room warm enough.

Positives: Proximity to the airport.

Negatives: The plumbing and heating were sub par.

This was my 1st time
at this hotel. I liked the convenience in regards to the location. It was out of the way but easy to get to my destination in South Philly.

Positives: The hotel was very quiet which made it great to relax!

Negatives: Not applicable.

Negatives: Room wasn't cleaned at all... staff put us off when we brought it to thier atten... left a day early, stayed someplace else..

The hotel is nice from the outside. Has free parking which is really nice because other hotels in the area charge for parking. Nice pool and it's open until 11pm. Pool area wasn't cleaned at all Saturday night or Sunday. (A friend of mine accidentally left her drink in the pool area Saturday evening and it was right where she left it Sunday night). Room was nice. Hotel staff does a great job cleaning... though they are a little wasteful.

Positives: Hotel staff were amzzing!

Negatives: Old TV, pool area needed cleaning. Hotel is a bit dated.

Our room smelled of tobacco and we had to switch rooms. We had to fight for our free breakfast buffet. The directions to the hotel were wrong.

Positives: Very nice decor.

Negatives: Marriott hotel without free Internet.

Nice public spaces & helpful staff. It's a good place to sleep as long as you're not there on a night with an enormous & drunken wedding party (thin walls) in every room. It's a good value if you bid on Priceline, and convenient if traveling up the hwy. Only problem is there's nothing nearby you can drive to, without getting back on the highway.

Positives: Nice room & nice staff -- particularly front desk & gift shop girl, who went extra mile.

Negatives: Thin walls (moaning in next room woke me up), dirty carpet, location and parking.

Clean and friendly staff, probably in need of remodeling.

Positives: Convenient to the airport.

Negatives: Isolated and difficult to walk to restaurants.

Very nice place to stay whether for business, family, or romance.

Positives: Clean, courteous, & helpful.

Negatives: No enough elevators.

I am very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of this hotel. It's a four star hotel and I would have preferred a three star because where I normally stay is much cleaner and have less issues and staff is willing to accommodate when their facility is not up to standards.

Positives: I liked the spacious bathroom.

Negatives: It wasn't as clean as I expected and the television was small, the air unit was noisy and staff didn't accommodate for unsatisfactory stay.

Overall, the stay was fine. Not great, fine. We had issue when we first checked in because the hotel was hosting a prom. There was no parking for our vehicle and when asked where we should park to unload our suitcases, the security personnel stated we would have to park "way out and lug them in". Not very 4 star. The inside of the hotel was fine, nothing extravagant. The room was decent - again, nothing tremendous. We did have an issue with a limo driver. He would not let us move our car past (he was blocking the road) and actually swore at me when I asked him to move. I went in and discussed it with the front desk, and they were all over it. They went out, addressed the driver, made him move, and apologized for the trouble. Another thing that I was surprised to see is that we had to pay for internet usage. No free internet. Kind of surprise in this day and age. Otherwise, not a bad stay (have had much worse, but also much better).
Positives: Wonderful new dining - the Sanctuary.

Negatives: Prom was hosted there, Jesters convention, other meetings.

My expectations were met and exceeded by the Renaissance. The front desk and housekeeping staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, nicely decorated and had a big bathroom with a marble floor and lots of towels. My only complaint was that it was nearly impossible to find a parking spot, however, that may be attributed to the recent snowfall. All in all, it was a fine experience and I would definitely stay at the Renaissance again.

Positives: Great staff, nice room and big bathroom.

Negatives: Bathroom sink didn't drain properly.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The lobby was beautiful, expansive and open. The front desk staff was always ready to help. We had a broken phone in our room and they sent someone up to fix it right away. We also forgot to bring a cork-screw and they sent someone up with one very promptly as well. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was nice b/c floors 1-3 had their own set of open stairs that led right to the lobby so we never had to wait for the elevator or search for a stairwell. My 2 complaints would be that, first, the bar-tender who served us was most unhelpful when my husband asked for a list of beers on tap. We sat around the corner of the bar and he said "They're up there - you can't really see them from where you are (pointing to a list of beers they had up high in the front of the bar) If you just come around the front you can see them". How rude! Isn't it his job, as bartender, to verbally give the list? That was annoying and incompetent, but not enough to ruin our stay, or make the hotel staff, as a whole, look bad to us. The second problem, which was a slightly bigger deal was that most of the rooms had balconies over the beautiful atrium which held the pool. This might sound nice, until you are woken up at 8 am, on the dot when the pool opens and mobs of screaming children enter the pool. There must have been many unhappy kids the day we stayed b/c I have never heard so many screaming tantrums in my life. That kind of ruined our chances of "sleeping in". Overall, it was a great stay and a fabulous hotel. Next time, I just might request a room AWAY from the pool.
Positives: Super friendly and ready-to-help staff, beautiful atrium room with pool/jacuzzi.

Negatives: Most of the rooms had balconies overlooking pool and all the sounds from pool come right through the sliding glass doors.

Despite recent reviews, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Positives: Staff was very friendly.

Negatives: No flat screen in room.

I was surprised and disappointed when I was "upgraded" to a 4 star hotel and was stuck paying for this one. The front desk clerk was very unhelpful and did not want to look up my Marriott Club number. He finally said that he would, but when I checked out in the morning it had not been done. The person at the desk in the morning was more helpful and my number was added. My hotel room had a horrible odor, the bedspreads and furniture were all dated and dingy. The room had an overall dirty appearance.

Positives: Close to airport.

Negatives: Room was dated, dingy, and smelled awful.

We love the comfort and the beauty of the place, and the price that we got with Price line.

Positives: The beauty and comfort of the rooms.

Negatives: It was very hard to locate the place, it is hidden in a kind of remote location.

This hotel needs to be a 3 star hotel. The parking lot is surrounded by tall weeds- so it makes a person uncomfortable when arriving late - someone could be hiding. Also, the hotel was a little dated, and decor not up to 4 star. Towels were rough and no bath mat. Pool noice carried to rooms. Had to call 5 times to complain about people yelling from the balconies.

Positives: Close to airport

Negatives: Pool open to 10 - very loud and disturbing as voices carry to the rooms

One gets the feeling that this hotel is not being very well cared for by its owners. The staff was not informed about how the gold members should use the lounge (the doors had been re-keyed and the staff didn't know about it). There was a lot of dust and dirt in the elevator. It just seemed like it was almost abandoned even though it was still open for business. However, the room was very nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Even in the path of the airport we couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing. That was very nice.

Positives: The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Negatives: The staff was not informed about the amenities and how to use them. There was dirt in debris in the elevator.

I really enjoyed my stay here, even if it was only one night. I would definitely come back. The location is a little further from the city than desired but is not too bad. I was hoping it was near public transportation but it's not really. Overall though, the room was excellent and bigger than expected, the staff was very friendly and the facilities were really nice.

Positives: Beautiful building, excellent and spacious room, friendly staff.

Negatives: Too far from public transportation. Expensive cab ride.

The hotel was clean and there was nothing wrong, however this was not a 4 star hotel!

Positives: Room was clean, bar food was very good and accomodating.

Negatives: Old television, no honor bar, no 24 hour room service.

Excellent hotel for a day conference or a quick overnight stay. Rooms and restaurant were good, staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing else close by, so it all has to happen in the hotel. Ride to airport is a few minutes, but not unreasonable for an airport hotel.

Positives: Ease of check in, good restaurant and friendly/helpful staff.

Negatives: A bit of a ride to get to the airport and nothing else around.
