White Birch Golf Course ( Sports / Activity / Golf ). Located at 660 Tuscarora Park Road, Barnesville, 3 miles from the center of Hometown. The White Birch Golf Course was established in 1963. Once a dairy farm, John and Ben Godshall turned the 120 acres into a 27 Hole golf course. The 18 Hole Championship Course is a little bit on the short yardage side, but it gives all golfers a rough time with the rolling hills and strong north winds at certain times of the year. With tree lined fairways and large greens, the golfer also has a great scenic view as the course is located by the Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks.
