On nineteen acres of beautiful Gettysburg countryside, rests the Lightner Farmhouse. A graceful Federal-style brick home built ca.1862 by Isaac Lightner, an Adams County sheriff and farmer. Used as a Federal hospital for wounded soldiers following the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg, today the Farmhouse offers the feel of history with modern comforts and extraordinary hospitality.
