We spent 45 minutes driving around looking for this hotel, which has an address showing that it is ON Interchange Road... it is not. It is hidden in the back of a large open shopping mall that has frontage along Interchange Road. No signs on the road point you back to the hotel. Once there, it has a small front lobby in which they host free breakfasts, and nice large rooms with free Internet. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Nice large adjustable Speakman shower head was a treat.

Positives: Large rooms, free Internet, shower with large adjustable Speakman shower head.

Negatives: Near impossible to find... buried at the back of a shopping center over a mile away from Interchange Road.

Not to make excuses, but I heard that they had a very large Labor Day weekend crowd. I came the day after Labor Day. They probably didn't have time to thoroughly clean. But I won't stay there again.

For the price, we had everything we needed. We were visiting a friend and were not in the hotel for a long period. Just needed a place to stay and this was very suitable. Breakfast included which was both convenient and cost effective. Location was great and felt safe. Guests too, seemed to be mostly families which added to a safe feeling. Overall clean and comfortable. I look for Marriotts for the above reasons - usually consistent with those features.

Positives: Good location and staff, incl. breakfast, reasonably priced and clean.

Negatives: Bottom of bathtub gray which made it look unclean.

Stayed with spouse,two older children and a small dog. Room was clean and spacious and located in a safe area behind a mall. Kids enjoyed the pool, which was open extended hours. Complimentary continental breakfast included.

Positives: Hotel is accomodating (including pet friendly), clean, safely located and reasonably priced.

Negatives: Not enough clean towels at the pool during a late night swim.

The Manager and the hotel clerk were both rude. I asked if we could have adjoining rooms or rooms on the same floor. The room that adjoined ours was empty, but our fellow travellers had to stay on the 2nd floor and we were on the first. They really made us feel like second class citizens because we had booked through you. They made it very clear that they were not going to accommodate us at all.

Positives: The price and the maid staff.

Negatives: The Manager and the woman who checked us in were rude. The Manager even spoke rudely to her cleaning staff in front of everyone.

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to shop, so having the mall within walking distance was a bonus. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast and the coffee was actually pretty good. We would definitely stay at the Fairfield again.

Positives: The hotel was quiet and the staff were very friendly.

Negatives: I experienced difficulty when trying to make an international call.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable. The staff was cheerful, and recommended a local event that became the highlight of our vacation!

The only thing I would say is that I wish that the hotel had a airport shuttle, its not far from the airport but it is about a $20 ride in a cab.

This hotel was okay for the price, but did not meet the expectations based on the website remarks. The smell of chlorine greeted us when we walked in through the main doors. The hot tub was literally dirty with rings around the edge and, despite the fact that the wet, used towels were left on the toilet cistern for collection, they were left in a damp pile and not replaced with clean ones. I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone I know.

Positives: The cost.

Negatives: Towels left in damo pile; breakfast was based on early rising.

We were very impressed with the over all look of the hotel.The staff was very friendly and knowlegable.The roo was very clean and the bathroom was clean too..The kids liked the swimming pool which was not over clorinated we like it there.

The location of the hotel is ideal for shopping and dining in Erie. The complimentary breakfast was substantial and tasty. I appeciated the free highspeed internet access. The two queen beds in our room were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and was reasonably quiet.

Positives: Beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good.

Negatives: Indoor pool, rather there also be an outdoor pool.

The breakfast area was a little small. The breakfast food selection was not that great. The pool was nice. It was very nice having a hot tub near the pool. The room/beds were very comfortable. The biggest problem was that the cable TV did not work during our 2nd night stay.

The staff was very nice and catered to our needs. The location was great and easy to find. I found the bed to be the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The pool was rather small, but the hot tub was great. I would definitely go back!

I travel with my children to sporting events and I would stay in this hotel again, the location was good, the room was clean and comfortable.

Positives: Room was clean, comfortable perfect for a weekend shopping trip or sporting event.

Hotel was in a great location near the mall and lots of restaurants. The linens were cheap and came off the bed as soon as you laid in them, very frustrating. There was also no refrigerator in the room. The continental breakfast was really nice and the coffee in the lobby was fantastic and available 24 hours a day. Staff was friendly. Would visit again.

Positives: Excellent continental breakfast.

Negatives: No refrigerator in the room and the sheets did not fit the bed; they came off as soon as you sat down on it, very uncomfortable.

great beds, nice clean hotel, the general location is convenient but it's way out in the back end parking of a mall near an abandoned store.

Someone's sock were left in my room which tells me that the room was not cleaned properly, our wake up calls were wrong 2 times and I don't believe that I had a choice of smoking-or-non, was in a smoking room which stuck to high heaven and was told that they were going to send a air cleaner to our room which I never got.

Positives: Considering the amount of people that stayed thee same night with kids, it was quiet at night.

Negatives: The location was not good for me.

Was a very nice hotel. The first night we were there no complaints. Next day we were invaded by young hockey players and their parents. Kids everywhere. Parents everywhere drinking beer. Place was a zoo. Didn't get my room cleaned, don't know why, no answers from staff. Asked for towels and toilet paper and we had ran out, said it would be brought up, was never brought up. Had to go down and ask again and get it myself. I think the staff were just going crazy with all the kids and the beer drinking parents there. With all of them it smelled like a bar when we walked it at night. Wouldn't want to stay again with all the kids. Otherwise, a great hotel!

Positives: Great pool, nice breakfast, friendly staff.

Negatives: Maid did not clean room, had to ask for towels.
