Edgar Thomson pushed the Pennsylvania Railroad over the Alleghenies and on to Pittsburgh. Conceived as an economy summer retreat for Pittsburghers, the original 1886 hostel still proudly accommodates vacationers. And, since 1993, The Station Inn has served as a B&B whose focus is providing comfortable lodging, good company, and hearty breakfasts for rail enthusiasts.
