After a busy day exploring the area you may be treated to the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The quaint village of Yachats is the perfect getaway community with its population of 650. The artsy community with its eclectic feel is the perfect place to relax and remove yourself from the trappings of modern society. The village is easily accessible through a well maintained trail system. Just minutes from Yachats is Cape Perpetua the highest point on the Oregon Coast. The Cape affords breathtaking scenery and many recreational opportunities like hikes through coastal rain forests world class tide pools and exceptional views of Devils Churn and a spouting water horn. Within thirty minutes of the Fireside Motel are some of the most visited attractions on the Oregon Coast. North of the property is Newport with which boasts the Oregon Coast Aquarium Hatfield Marine Science Center Yaquina Head and Bay Lighthouses and the NOAA Pacific Fleet. Take highway 101 south of the property to find Sea Lion Caves Heceta Lighthouse the coastal town of Florence and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area which offers horseback riding dunebuggies and windsurfing. Front desk is open from 730am to 1000pm.
