Family loved this place as a base for Bend activities and Crater Lake. Family friendly, loads to do if you just want to stay on the property and relax. It is expensive, if you book one of the units, pass on the extra charges for a "mountain view" It's really a golf course view with the airport as a background and far off, Mt. Bachelor, if the trees aren't in your way. The stables desperately need a front desk change and regardless of how busy it is (or isn't), you need a reservation to ride one of the trail tours. Just a tip to management here, if you've got a tour going out and it's not filled, you'll make more by filling it.
Positives: Quiet, great location, and very comfortable.
Negatives: Pool kept too cold, confusing winding layout, better pullouts, it is expensive.

The room was great and it was peaceful but not really anything to do on the resort except for the spa.
Positives: Exclusiveness.
Negatives: Its demographic is for 40 yrs or older.

The setting and the surroundings made it very memorable for the time of the year (Christmas).
Positives: Very accommodating to our needs.
Negatives: Noisy heater in the room.

This resort was beautiful. We went up for a snow weekend, and there was lots of snow, and great accommodations for snow activities with out having to leave the resort. The condo we were first given was horrible! Very dated, smelly, overall dirty feeling. Not what I would have expected for what we were paying. I complained and the front desk was very helpful and switched us to a fabulous condo! A good tip for this place is to be aware that all the condos and houses are owned by different people so you could get stuck with something horrible like we unfortunately did. The spa's hot tubs were closed for maintenance which would have been nice to have known prior because that would have effected where we would have stayed at. Overall the condo that we did end up with was very nice, wish we didn't have to have the hassle in the first place of switching rooms. But would stay at the resort again. Very family friendly and romantic at the same time!
Positives: Scenic views!
Negatives: Had to have a room change.

Not what I expected. It would be helpful to have an adult only swimming pool. Overcharged on room service, but they did correct our bill when we inquired. Enjoyed the Market Place shopping area.
Positives: Lots of walking paths and market place restaurants.
Negatives: Our reservation had been canceled upon trying to register and room was 55 degrees upon arrival.

I liked the hotel. I got a "pet friendly" and "independently owned" room that hadn't been remodeled like the other hotel rooms. Carpeting had been badly stained and the room smelled musty. Complained to hotel management and the second room was better, nicer view, etc.
Positives: Nice setting.
Negatives: Had to switch rooms - the first one was "pet friendly" and very disappointing.
