For the price, the suite was great with a Jacuzzi where you could see the TV and fireplace. The TV was small though and the DVD/VHS player was old. The room we had was right in the middle of the upstairs. To get to our room, the only stairs were at the ends of the building, and the building was really long which made it a lot of work to go anywhere outside our room. There was no real view and the continental breakfast was in a really small crowded room, especially when there was a lot of other people there including small children. The hot tub was quite a walk in the cold away from the hotel so we didn't use it.
Positives: The people were great, jacuzzi fantastic, large bathroom was nice, plenty of parking.
Negatives: No view, no restaurant, limited access to upstair suites, had walk a long ways to get to room.

This hotel was a fine place to stay. The continental breakfast was great and the staff was also.
Positives: Location, great accommodations, continental breakfast and great staff.
Negatives: We liked everything.

Excellent value for the money. We liked the proximity to all there is to do in Sisters and the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious.
Positives: The location and the rooms. Very clean, comfortable and attractive.
Negatives: If you are the ground floor, you can get noisy people above.

This is a good hotel for pet owners to stay. Right behind the hotel is National forest land, so a great area to walk your dog. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large, clean and well equipped (small refrigerator, microwave, couch and table with 2 chairs) and it is easy distance to Downtown sisters.
Positives: The location, good continental breakfast, and large rooms, pet friendly, good value for the money.
Negatives: Nothing.

We appreciated the cleanliness, roominess and newness of the Ponderosa Lodge. The location was perfect for our purposes, and it was great having easy access to both grocery stores and restaurants. We definitely would stay there again.
Positives: We liked the vaulted pine ceilings on the 2nd floor, which made the room seem even bigger than it was.
Negatives: The room wasn't lit as much as desired. (Low lighting).
