This was a great hotel, especially if it were for an extended business trip. The room was like a small apartment complete with appliances and the free full breakfast every morning was very convenient. However, the site did not mention the $25 parking fee so we were a little surprised by this.
Positives: The free full breakfast buffet was very nice.
Negatives: The parking cost $25 per night & the hotel's not really downtown.

Loved the location! Loved the extra room & having a kitchen is a bonus.
Positives: Great location, liked having a separate bedroom & the kitchen was a bonus.
Negatives: Not a very comfortable bed.

The stay was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff is beyond kind and helpful.
Positives: Very nice, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Out of the way of shopping, dining and tourist attractions.

The room was clean and quiet and had a lovely kitchenette with dishwasher. I was able to walk downtown on the waterfront in minutes. There is a trolley on the corner if you are not the walking type. The breakfast had many choices of main courses and there were receptions on some evenings where wine, soup, and salad were served.
Positives: Quiet convent location with an amazing staff and great breakfast!
Negatives: The rooms have one queen bed and a pullout couch. I requested 2 queen sized beds. Not really a big deal for me but it might be for other patrons.

This was a great hotel in a great neighborhood. They were unable to accommodate our request for two beds but each room had a pull out couch and a full kitchen. Breakfast was included in the price and was one of the best we've ever had.
Positives: Great location, loved the kitchenette and they had an excellent breakfast which was included.
Negatives: Charged for parking.

It was a very nice hotel, the room was really big and loved that it had a kitchen. Nothing went wrong, the staff was friendly. The pool was fun and breakfast was AMAZING.
Positives: Very modern and comfortable. Luxurious.
Negatives: They charge you for the bottles of water they put in your room.

We enjoyed our stay here. If we had more time, it would have been nice to take the streetcar downtown. The breakfast staff were nice and friendly, but when we checked in it seemed as though the reception was less than warm. It was a great value and has nice big rooms, a mineral pool and a nice jacuzzi open until 11pm. It was very quiet too.
Positives: Large room, quiet stay, nice pool and spa. Decent breakfast included.
Negatives: The staff provided minimal service with little or no friendliness.

Check in was very fast and staff was very friendly. Room was clean and accommodating! There was no evidence of a pool, so we assumed there wasn't one. Complimentary breakfast had lots of options and lots of seating! Check out was simple and staff was very friendly. Hotel has good location by interstate/highway.
Positives: There was a full kitchen. Size of room was big!
Negatives: Parking was $24.00!

The rooms are rather big, with small kitchen area, big fridge and mv. This hotel is very good for families and big companies with pets, we have seen a lot of dogs around and they also feel themselves comfortable. Next time we would like to try swimming pool and sport facilities
Positives: Very nice hotel, with rather big swimming pool, next time I will take swimming suit with me!
Negatives: Rather far from the city-center, street-car goes not very often in the night.

Overall, my stay (especially considering the price I paid) was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. For example, when I mentioned to house cleaning that I was allergic to feather pillows, they remembered not to put them on my bed. The space was modern and kept very clean. I'd stay there again for sure.
Positives: I like that the rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. The equipped kitchenette was a fabulous bonus.
Negatives: The reception staff was very friendly; however, surprisingly not very knowledgeable about the city.

This hotel was everything we could ask for and more. It resembled a small studio apartment so we had everything we needed. Our room had a stove, a dishwasher, and even full size fridge. The bed was a king size bed and we even had couches for people to sit at and hang out.
Positives: It was like a studio apartment, including a small kitchen!
Negatives: Parking was expensive.

Although it's not technically in the middle of downtown portland, the free shuttle was very accessible and the walk is less than 15 minutes.
Positives: Happy Hour Mon-Wed; Free Breakfast every morning!
Negatives: $24/night parking

Extremely friendly staff, nice services, and great facilities. It is a bit tucked away and is definitely a best kept secret. I was and still am incredibly impressed by my stay.
Positives: Incredibly large and nice rooms, with all amenities I was hoping for and more!
Negatives: A bit far away from downtown, but I knew that when I booked it.

I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel. It made it convenient to have a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. The breakfast was adequate and parking plentiful. The $24/ night fee for parking was a negative, but the price for the hotel made up for it, plus that's to be expected from any hotel situated in the downtown area.
Positives: The hotel was impeccably clean. The fact that it offered to grocery shop for it's guests at no charge was awesome!
Negatives: The location of the hotel was somewhat out of the way of conveniences such as eateries and grocery stores.

This hotel had everything we needed, and we would definitely stay there again.
Positives: The breakfast buffet was fantastic, among the best we have ever seen.
Negatives: Parking was very expensive. $24/day is a significant increase in the price of the room.

Very pleased with our stay. Despite being right next to freeway, room was totally quiet. Safer feeling location than downtown Portland, which can be a little scruffy. Convenient waterfront location for walking or jogging. Easy walk downtown.
Positives: Overall excellent value. Clean, convenient, great breakfast buffet and courteous staff. A winner.
Negatives: $24 a night for parking seemed pretty stiff, particularly since the location in not downtown.

I would not recommend this hotel for two reasons. One they charge $25 for one night of parking, but don't advertise this fact until you are standing at the front desk and also the walls are poorly insulated and you can hear the water running whenever anyone turns their faucet or shower on. The hotel looks nice on the surface, but obviously some corners were cut.
Positives: The rooms were nicely appointed.
Negatives: Pipes are poorly insulated and noisy in the walls. Also, charge $25 for parking.

This was an attractive hotel down by the Willamette River. The rooms were spacious. It served an excellent breakfast. The room was cold, and it seemed like the heating system in my room did not work correctly. My parents in another room also complained of the cold.
Positives: The rooms were clean and attractive.
Negatives: The room was too cold and the heating system did not seem to respond correctly.

This hotel well exceeded the 3 star rating. There is a kitchenette in every room, but you don't need it (at least not for breakfast) the free, hot breakfast is insane. There are so many choices it made me wish I was a bigger eater! The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. We had our infant with us and there were actually options in the room for where we could put his port-a-crib, it's that big. We were going to OHSU (Oregon Health & Science University) and we'll have to again soon, you can bet we'll stay here again.
Positives: The hot, free, breakfast was simply awesome.
Negatives: The only available parking is $24 a night.

Great hotel, quiet rooms, incredible free breakfast, nice location near the river, only drawback is the extra charge of $ 24 per day for parking with no nearby alternatives.
Positives: Incredible free breakfast, clean and modern.
Negatives: Parking was charged $24 per day with no nearby alternatives.

I loved<BR/>this hotel. Residence Inns are now on my top five. I felt more like I was staying in an apartment than a hotel room. The shuttle service rocked my world, even though I couldn't always get it when I wanted it. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel, and the breakfast staff was just huggable. My stay could not have been better.
Positives: Loved the spacious rooms and excellent breakfast and location.
Negatives: Couldn't always get the shuttle service when I needed it.

Located a little out of the way of downtown Portland, but right on the waterfront. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the full hot breakfast was a nice feature.
Positives: Friendly staff.
Negatives: Room was located next to the freeway on-ramp and was slow to be cleaned.

Towels were not replaced the second day so I did not have a towel when I got out of the shower the next morning as I hasd sat my prior towels outside the door the morning before. I was very disappointed in learning there was an additional $24.00 per day parking charge to park at the hotel! I think this should of been included in the price I paid.
Positives: Loved the free breakfast.
Negatives: I was charged $24.00 pere day for parking! which was not included.

The kitchenette and "living room" make this place feel immediately comfortable. I just wish they charged less for parking.
Positives: Felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room.
Negatives: Parking is a high charged $24/day.

What a great experience we had here! The continental breakfast was the biggest I have ever seen!! It's like an IHOP buffet. Needless to say we ate far too much. Our only complaints were that it was really hard to find, the gym was small and parking isn't complimentary. I think it was $25 a day or something.
Positives: Continental breakfast was amazing, rooms comfortable, kitchen in room is very convenient, and alll over feel was great.
Negatives: Gym was a little small, hotel was very difficult to find, they charge for parking.

This hotel is perfect for the business traveler, yet it isn't close to anything. You need to drive vs. walking. Portland is a walking city so that should tell you something.
Positives: The size of the room was nice.
Negatives: The location right at the intersection of I-5/405 and was loud.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 30 Jul 2010 rated 9 out of 10.
I thought the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a nice option. Traveling with two people it seemed a little unfair that one person had to sleep on the hide-a-bed. Also the directions for getting there were a bit frustrating.
Positives: I thought the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a nice option.
Negatives: It was a little far away from town, and the hide-a-bed was a little uncomfortable..

Spacious, family-friendly and pets, too. Nice complimentary breakfast. Rooms are well appointed and very quiet.
Positives: Large, comfy rooms and wonderful location, especially for runners: it's right off the esplanade.
Negatives: Nothing to say.

Great experience, hotel was much nicer and large than I needed or expected.
Positives: Close proximity to waterfront, train, and parks.
Negatives: View was of underside of freeway bridge and price of hotel parking was inflated compared to nearby garages.

Great breakfast buffet and wonderful room layout that made our stay a home away from home.

Great location, breakfast was very good. Staff was marvelous. Shuttle to our downtown event ad street car back to the hotel door step! This was great.

The hotel met my expectations. The staff was on top of things and very quick. The continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen for a hotel. There had to be at least 20 items.
Positives: Quick check-in, knowledgeable staff, awesome breakfast.
Negatives: Parking overnight was $21.

Positives: Close to free Portland transportation - great breakfast.
Negatives: I liked everything.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, it's clean and comfortable, and it's an all-suite hotel. It probably appeals more to families/vacationers rather than those on business or independent travelers. For example, expect to see families in the elevator in bare feet and towels, straight from the pool. This gives you some indication of the kind of hotel it is. Also, it's right next to a freeway/bridge so beware of rooms on the river side. A very good buffet breakfast is included, though, but if you're looking for a downtown/city experience, try elsewhere.
Positives: Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.
Negatives: It's too far from downtown and appeals more to families. It's not very sophisticated.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 06 Oct 2009 rated 8 out of 10.
Overall I very much enjoyed my stay here. As a Residence Inn, the room had a small kitchen in it, which I found very useful. There is internet in the rooms and its free. I did not appreciate having to spend $20 per night for parking since the hotel is not located downtown at all(and a car is sort of essential to getting around this area). Also the beds could really use an upgrade.
Positives: Very spacious room and free internet.
Negatives: The bed was pretty terrible - it was saggy and should be replaced. $20 for parking is absurd given the location.

It was like taking a cruise!
Positives: I could live there!
Negatives: None
