Mcmenamins White Eagle Saloon & Hotel
Portland, Oregon
Mcmenamins White Eagle Saloon & Hotel is a hotel located in Portland.
Set in North Portland's industrial neighborhood, the legendary White Eagle Cafe and Rock 'n' Roll Hotel echoes with tall tales of resident spirits, reverberating rock, and Shanghai tunnels, as it has since its opening in 1905.
Originally a hub for Portland's Polish immigrants, today the place is known for its vintage charm and nightly live music. The Holy Modal Rounders and blues man Robert Cray helped launch the bar's live music tradition, followed in the '80s by Northwest music icons Paul deLay, Curtis Salgado, Norman Sylvester and more. Today the musical flavors range from hip hop acts to downhome country—all true to their live performance roots on our quaint stage.
Local dining options close to Mcmenamins White Eagle Saloon & Hotel include Widmer Brothers Brewing, Labrewatory, Gotham Tavern, and Seven Bridges Winery.
