Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast in restaurant.
Positives: I loved the comfortable bed! The decor of the room set a nice mood.
Negatives: The swimming pool being half enclosed, not comfortable when chilly.

There always seemed to be some sort of big gathering going on at night or on the weekend in the hotel, thus, making parking spots not that easy to find. Parking lot is not very well-lit and didn't recall seeing any security patrol. Although our car hasn't been broken into or anything, I think having a well-lit parking lot will certainly help to further prevent that from happening.
Positives: Spacious room. Convenient location to Washing Sq Mall, Woodburn, & restaurants
Negatives: Parking lot always seemed to be full. Cleaning staff forgot to clean our room in 1 out of 3 nights stay.

My stay at the Crowne Royal at Lake Oswego was a very pleasant surprise as it exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful, and my room was wonderful.
Positives: The location was great, the decor in the lobby was tasteful, and my room was beautiful.
Negatives: There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel..

I called first night to complain about air conditioning, they said it was because I just arrived. Complained the second night and they said there was nothing wrong it was blowing 72 degrees. Next day finally acknowledged it was broke and said I could move to new room. Offered no help in relocating and was very unapologetic to my situation of being in a room miserable for two nights.
Positives: Great location.
Negatives: No air conditioning for two nights and very unresponsive to needs.

This is a fine, friendly hotel that I'd rate at 3.5 stars. The pool is a little bit cold and the hot tub too hot, but otherwise we had a pleasant stay.
Positives: The place was nice though a little outdated.
Negatives: The place did not seem like it should have been rated at 4 stars, e.g. where were the down comforters?

The public area had a spacious feeling, however, the area from the check-in desk to the elevators could become very congested very quickly.
Positives: Even though we were on the 2nd floor the elevator was efficient.
Negatives: Noisy AC.

The front staff was so kind and accommodating to put a refrigerator in our room so that we could keep our baby's food cold. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It's a bit old, but overall still very comfortable.
Positives: The front staff was very helpful and kind,
Negatives: The bed mattress was too soft, The swimming area was a bit dirty.

Check-in went smoothly. Staff very friendly. Room was very nice clean and quiet. Bed linens were good quality and bed was very comfortable. Could barely hear road nice from 3 highways adjacent. Ate in the hotel restaurant and prices were very reasonable, food was good, and service was attentive. Would stay here again. The location was great for sight seeing as it was at the junction of 3 highways, you could go any direction quickly and easily.v
Positives: Bed very comfortable, bed linens good quality, great location by 3 highways. restaurant food very good, service very good, and menu prices very good.
Negatives: Tub was a little small.

Very comfortable bed and room was great.
Positives: Location was great.
Negatives: Noise at night. The walls seemed paper thin, heard more than I wanted at 4 am. Could also hear doors as people enter or left rooms.

Nice looking easy to get to, but was NOT a 3 ½ star hotel. Mold growing in bathroom, on back door and bathroom door hinges so rusty that they squeaked when opening and closing.
Positives: Front desk area and surround area was nice.
Negatives: Mold growing in the room on back door and tub.

When we first arrived we were overjoyed because the hotel was very beautiful in appearance! The staff was friendly and our room was nice and seemed clean. But we were very disappointed by a few things that will make us think twice before staying at this Crown Plaza again. First of all the hotel was hosting a casino style charity benefit, which seemed kind of neat at first, but then we noticed that our room was not sound proof to the roar of cheering that the crowd did every time someone was winning. We didn't mind it at first, because again we thought it was kind of neat, but the benefit continued late into the night and caused our family not to be able to go to sleep when we needed to. We had to get up early the next morning, and refreshed and rejuvenated was the furthest thing from what we felt! The hotel hosted the casino night again the following night making a repeat of our exhausting night, and again we had to get up early. This was not the relaxing get away we hoped for. Also the plumbing and water pressure were poor! And the heater either cooked you or you froze, there was no in between. If this hotel scheduled their functions to better suit the needs of tenants and updated the HVAC and plumbing situation there establishment would be a very desirable destination!
Positives: Seemed clean and attractive.
Negatives: Plumbing! Heater.

Positives: Area.
Negatives: Parking.

The core of the building is open to the roof, letting light in to all floors. It is tidy and well kept by the management.
Positives: The areas around the hotel are beautifully developed. Lots of trees and well kept landscapes. No glaring lights or signs. Peaceful.
Negatives: The room we had looked out onto a ventilation duct. We were on the 2nd floor, but could only see the sky.

Worst experience ever. We were assigned a room located right in front of the air duct and garbage collection place. It was noisy and stinky. The front desk recommended this room as nice view and I personally like this room. I called a manager at midnight because the duct was to noisy to get some sleep. There are Hilton's and a couple other hotels close to this hotel. If you are looking for a nice place, stay away from Crowne Plaza.
Positives: Stinky room and deceptive hotel website.
Negatives: Noisy room, disrespectful staff.

Very helpful staff in a very nice, clean, and comfortable business hotel. Great place for traveling through, but no need to stay in this location for several days.
Positives: Very Comfortable, clean, great staff!
Negatives: Pool was just ok.

Odd stay this time. Location, clean, when AC died they replaced entire unit quickly within hours. Gave us key to occupied room. Kicked out kids (not ours) from pool area without adequate reason or warning then proceeded to come into the workout room and try to tell us (just started working out) we had to leave too because it would not be fair to kick out the kids and not us. Clearly ridiculous and I told them this. We were allowed to stay. The AC broke down (see above) and the shower drained very slowly. Also, Internet was $9.95 per day. Overall, for the Priceline bid, it was worth it and we have had good experiences here in the past. However, this was clearly not them on their best day.
Positives: Good location, good price to quality ratio.
Negatives: Some of the service was good, some was bad.

Everything was good, and a great value!
Positives: Location.
Negatives: The shampoo, mouthwash, don't bother; thats it.

I was very surprised at the feel of luxury in my room. It was very tastefully decorated and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I loved the granite counters and the spaciousness of my room.
Positives: I liked the spaciousness of my room and the comfort of the bed.
Negatives: I would have liked a refrigerator.

The Lake Oswego Crowne Plaza is a convenient stop between Downtown Portland and the Oregon wine country. It has easy access to major freeways and free parking. However, the quality of accommodations falls short of 3.5 stars. There was insufficient sound insulation in the rooms as I was able to hear the room next door open their drapes. The air conditioner was so weak that even at maximum power, the room was close to 80 degrees and noticeably warmer than the hallway outside. That the hotel charges $10/day for WIFI Internet access is a major downside, given that the Hilton across the street offers this service for free.
Positives: Convenient to downtown Portland and Oregon wine county.
Negatives: Outdated decor, AC did not work properly, poor sound insulation, no free WIFI.
