Johnson City is a city in Clackamas County, Oregon. It was a manufactured housing community owned entirely by one man, whose residents voted to incorporate by a 49 to 10 vote on June 16, 1970. This incorporation avoided a 1969 Oregon law designed to prevent the proliferation of small incorporated areas because the proponents had filed for an election before the effective date of the law.
