Nice hotel but not too many restaurants around that are open late. Front desk forgot to return my credit card to me when I checked in. I was frantically searching for it and almost reported it to the bank as lost but decided to check at the front desk. They had my card and gave it to me after checking my ID. I asked the guy at the desk why the girl who checked me in didn't bother calling me in my room. He gave some lame excuse that they just don't call guests for that for privacy reasons and they didn't want to wake me up. It was around 8 pm when i checked in. It was so stupid that I didn't bother arguing.

Positives: I liked the beds and the workout facility.

Negatives: Lack of initiative of front desk personnel.

Not a good place to stay. Called 3 times in two hours about smokers on my floor horrid smell food was cold and waitress needs lessons in customer service.

Positives: The bed was comfortable.

Negatives: Smokers on my floor shower head loose waitress\food was terrible!

The high quality of beds and pillows showed Hilton's priorities. A very comfortable night is what a hotel guest is hoping for. Hilton met and exceeded that desire. The personnel were welcoming and enthusiastic as well as sincere.

Positives: The staff, from shuttle driver to check in clerk, were friendly, courteous and professional.

Negatives: Furniture placement was tight - we had to move a chair to get into the bed.

Great hotel, no free parking, no free breakfast. Staff seemed nice. Couldn't use speedy checkout as the number was continuously busy.

Positives: Best hotel bed I've ever slept on.

Negatives: Bathroom seemed under done.

Not really set up for vacation travelers. Much more business oriented. Parking can be pricey. Not located along major travel route (downtown). Once settled in, room clean and comfortable.

Positives: Room clean and comfortable.

Negatives: Pay $10 to park. Hard to find from Highway.

It was fine for the low priceline rate.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: It looked as if there was some cheap attempts@remodels.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 19 May 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

Hotel is an older building and will shortly have the water heating system redone which should take care of fluctuating temperature and screeching noise from hot water in shower. Public areas were fine. No breakfast offering with room rate however.

Positives: Friendly staff; good location for wandering and shopping; clean older facility.

Negatives: Don't expect a good view.

Great place to stay when on business. Great staff and comfy rooms.

Positives: I liked the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms.

Negatives: Remote controls didn't work for the televisions. Probably fixed by now.

The service people serve themselves, not the customer!

Positives: Clean as you would expect.

Negatives: Front desk people over the top rude!

I took my daughter (11) for a mother daughter weekend to the Hilton. (We live locally) She was super impressed which was what I was going for. They have the best feather pillows, like 4 per bed!! The staff was very friendly & helpful. We ordered room service, and it was wonderful. The indoor pool was very warm and enjoyable, pool toys were available for the kids.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: Parking $10 per night. The accomodations are always on the 3rd floor, The view from the third floor is the roof. Ugh.

I came here with my 13 year old daughter & her friend for a fun mini-vacation. I was astounded at the deal. I got on the room! I assumed that they had maybe sectioned off a "Priceline area" where the rooms weren't as good & the amenities were fewer. This was absolutely
not the case. The room was beautiful. And the bedding! Crisp white sheets with down duvets, with the most wonderful pillows I've ever slept on. The breakfast in bed option was fantastic. You choose from options on a card, choose what time you want it delivered, and hang it on your door the night before. If you try nothing else, spend the $4.00 on the fresh fruit plate. Amazing! At this price, with what you get, there's no better spot in town. Guaranteed.

Positives: The breakfast in bed option far surpasses the typical continental breakfast.

Negatives: The television reception and channel options were pretty disappointing.

The only draw back for me and my family are the pets being allowed in this facility and due to us being allergic to pets, we did not have a pleasant stay.

Positives: Very presentable, beds were comfortable, and

Negatives: Allergic to pets and did not sleep well due to my allergies.

I have stayed in 3 star hotels that did not charge for parking, Internet or pets. This one was inconveniently located and had extra charges for everything.

Positives: Staff was nice and tried to accommodate us.

Negatives: Extra charges for everything, including the Internet.

Okay-- My wife and I are not big hotel people, but we appreciate nice accommodations at a decent price. Our favorite places to stay have been 2-star hotels like Holiday Inn, Phoenix Inn, and Marriott Courtyard. We have never had a bad experience at these hotels. In fact, we feel pampered in their nice clean up-to-date rooms, free excellent breakfast buffets, Wi-Fi, big indoor pools and hot tubs, and excellent exercise facilities.

Positives: The hostesss in the lobby was nice and helpful.

Negatives: 10 bucks to park each day. 10 bucks/day wireless, charged us for water we found in the room. Outdated and worn rooms and pool.

Great staff and overall nice amenities. Bathrooms were on the small side, but clean and nice towels, etc. Good beds. $10 parking is a bit uncalled for, and adjoining rooms are too noisy, but a great value for what we paid overall.

Positives: Extremely helpful and responsive staff.

Negatives: Adjoining room was a pain; not enough soundproofing and heard way too much through the door, embarrassing.

Great place to stay. Superb location in downtown. Free coffee in lobby great. Saturday morning breakfast buffet terrific. Heating cooling system worked great. Air was fresh. Very comfortable bed. Room service pricing same as restaurantWe want to stay there every time we are in Eugene.

Positives: Every room has a balcony.

Negatives: Nnot enough space for chair in room.

I was not familiar with amenities in Eugene. Both lady staff spent almost 2 hours helping us plan and took a genuine interest in making sure we had a great time. Entire staff was wonderful.I stay there when the Ashland Elks come, this trip was for my wife's 40th birthday and there isn't anything can fault from accommodations to front desk and especially both the lady staff. Congratulations to this hotel and you should be proud of what your staff does to enhance a fun trip.

Positives: Staff. The lady

Negatives: Sorry, entire experience exceeded expectations.

It was nice to check in and have everything I needed at the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Room service was quick and the food was good. I enjoyed my stay, but feel that in times like these more amenities should be offered free of charge, including Internet and parking.

Positives: Comfortable and accommodating.

Negatives: Amenities were extra charge - no free Internet.

Very nice hotel for Eugene, will stay again!

Positives: Larger hotel with excellent service.

Negatives: Wireless internet was not available without a $10.00/day charge. It was available in there business center, but only had 2 computers.

Comfortable stay, obnoxious extra fees( parking, WI-Fi) and room construction.

Positives: Comfortable bed, linens, and pillows.

Negatives: Construction was going on in a nearby room at an early time of day. They charged extra for parking and to use the WiFi.

Not quite as nice I expected for a Hilton. Drove 2 cars and had to pay parking for both. The room was clean and the employees were very nice.

Positives: Clean room easy to check in and check out.

Negatives: Extra charges for things (parking, water).

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 25 Jun 2010 rated 5 out of 10.

I have stayed here before, but this was a shockingly disappointing stay. Ceiling tiles falling by sliding glass door. Coffee maker didn't work right. Bathroom didn't vent. Dirty chair, which they did replace. Extra charge for WiFi.

Positives: Bed was extremely comfortable.

Negatives: This hotel is aging and not gracefully.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 04 Jun 2010 rated 3 out of 10.

It wasn't a very nice place, it was very loud all night, the shower was very cold, and was asked to fix it. for the price it wasn't a very nice place.

Hotel for business people, not family friendly at all.

Positives: Clean

Negatives: We were given a room for handicap people, we had to pay for parking even though it doesn't work.

Score of 9 out of 10. Very good.

Positives: Rooms were very up-to-date and nice.

Negatives: Restaurant service was below par, new waiter.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 20 May 2010 rated 2 out of 10.

The mattress was very soft and saggy. The hotel did not follow their own written policy on noise and quieting rowdy people. We asked for a quiet room and did not get one, and the noise in the hallways was unbearable despite multiple complaints to the front desk.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Very noisy.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 17 May 2010 rated 5 out of 10.

This hotel advertises itself as non-smoking, which is important to me, but allow smoking in the parking garage - I was sickened by secondhand smoke when I went to get my car, and when I called hotel management to complain, was told they are non smoking except the parking garage (there are no signs or printed info indicating this anywhere). Given that there is really nowhere else to park, a hotel guest is trapped and it is sickening to be slapped in the face with secondhand smoke the minute one enters the parking garage. I will not stay there again.
Positives: It was clean.

Negatives: No choice but to pay for parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sat 15 May 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Very efficient check in. Great price. Nice room with comfortable beds.

Positives: Very clean and comfortable. Attractive room.

Negatives: No free continental breakfast. Parking was $10.

It's a great location downtown Eugene, but the building itself is old. There's a train that goes by as well so earplugs are provided.

Positives: The location.

Negatives: The water was lukewarm at best in the morning.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 30 Mar 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

Very nice hotel. The room was all a traveler could ask for.

Positives: The beds were very comfortable.

Negatives: The noisy doors slamming.

Negatives: New HDTV, but with only a poor analog picture.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 22 Feb 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

The hotel was nice. I was traveling on business and brought my family. I was very disappointed with all the additional costs: $10/day – parking. $10/day - internet access in the room. $15/day/per person – breakfast.

Positives: Beds were comfy.

Negatives: Had to pay for parking, internet and breakfast.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 10 Feb 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

The hotel was great, it was clean, staff was friendly, it was a bit noisey but by 11 everything was calm. We did stay on the fifth floor so you didn't hear street noise. I didn't like the fact that you had to pay an extra 10 dollars for parking but at least our vehicle was safe. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

Positives: The Hotel was very clean and they had big bath towels, comfy beds and nice TV.

Negatives: I didn't like having to pay an extra 10 dollars for parking.

Positives: Comfortable beds & pillows.

Negatives: Parking fee.
