This hotel is above average for the level it is rated. Not fancy by any means, but it is clean and well kept from what I saw. I would not hesitate to stay again when on this kind of budget.
Positives: First rate staff, courteous and on top of everything. Room was clean and satisfactory, comfortable enough.
Negatives: Breakfast area is small and cramped at peak time.

We wanted a hotel that was affordable, clean, and within walking distance to Hayward Field. Overall, this hotel met those expectations. The room was big enough, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was ok, but nothing special, by the time we got there they were out of juice and milk and most everything else. Overall, this hotel met our expectations.
Positives: This hotel is within walking distance of Hayward Field at U of O.
Negatives: Continental breakfast was just ok.

The front desk staff were so helpful. We had to call twice to get directions, and they were more than happy to help. The room was clean. The front reception area and breakfast area were spacious and clean. They had coffee/tea 24 hours and breakfast started early and had a great selection.
Positives: The staff were excellent. They were so friendly. We needed to change rooms because the first one smelled smokey, and they changed us immediately.
Negatives: I guess just the first room smelling like smoke when it was a non-smoking room, but again that was taken care of.

The room had easy access from my vehicle, was children and pet friendly, with a friendly staff.
Positives: They were family friendly and animal friendly.
Negatives: The toilet area was small with no fan.

They told me it was going through a renovation, however, I can't imagine that cleaning the carpet and filthy upholstery would have hurt them any. They offered me a possible other room for my second night but I wasn't sure it would have been any better. When I asked about another room I was told they were full.
Positives: Bed was very comfortable.
Negatives: Filthy carpet, peeling wallpaper, a huge dried former wet spot on a chair.

The room itself was conveniently located and there was great security features of this facility. The front desk staff was polite and accommodating. Upon entering our room it was discovered there were ants. We mentioned this to the housekeeping staff and she was very abrupt and rude. She cleaned it off however the next day they were back and were dropping from the ceiling and crawling on the bed. As we returned late we decided to just go to sleep as we were checking out the next day. .
Positives: The security of the building was great and the location was perfect.
Negatives: The ants crawling all over the room was unacceptable and the employees response to my complaint was even worse.

I ordered a room for 2 adults and 1 child. I called the hotel ahead of time requesting a room with either 2 beds or a king if that is all they had. I arrived at 11:30 PM and he told me I was the last to check in. My room had 1 queen bed and 3 of us. He finally brought me a roll away but then wanted to charge me $10 for it. My son had a gymnastics meet the next morning at 7:30 and had a horrible nights sleep. The reason I didn't get my request is because they had a cheer leader comp staying there and they needed to get 4 to a room so no doubles were left by the time I got there.
Positives: Close to where I needed to be.
Negatives: Hotel staff not very helpful.

Hotel was probably okay. The smoking room was like walking into an ashtray. We had to leave w/o recourse and find a hole in the wall hotel but at least it was clean and fresh.
Positives: Close to where we needed to be.
Negatives: Put in smoking room that was so bad we had to leave w/o refund.

A perfectly adequate utilitarian motel.
Positives: Location next to University of Oregon.
