The hotel is in a good location for the Downtown Bend area and the Deschutes River - both within medium walking distance. We were promised a king bed upon booking, but offered only two full size upon arrival. The front desk attendant was able to offer a king to the people in front of us in line when they paid the rack rate. The complimentary breakfast was above average on day one (hot, fresh eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.), but only average on day two.

Positives: Good location for attractions in Downtown area.

Negatives: Person working at front desk was not warm and friendly during check-in process.

Very acceptable for the 2.5 star rating. Basically clean except for odor. Not sure if all rooms allow pets (which may account for the odor). Appreciated no smoking policy for all rooms. Friendly staff, who spoke English (as first language) very welcome surprise. All needs and requests were quickly attended to with graciousness.

Positives: Quiet, good amenities, very nice breakfast selections and quality.

Negatives: A/C was inconsistent, room had slight odor, several light bulbs were out

It's a nice, clean, quiet hotel that's easy to find. A great hotel for a night or two if you have a car.

Positives: Clean room with updated furnishings. Room also had a refrigerator and Microwave which is always a bonus since I have food allergies and travel with my own food.

Negatives: We were told there weren't any available ground floor rooms, however there were only 4 or 5 cars in the entire parking lot for our entire stay.

We had a nice stay! The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We arrived late and they took good care of getting us into our room and provided us with a play pen for the little one to sleep in. They brought it right to our room with extra linens to to make it comfortable. We all enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate the have free for their guest, would stay again!

Positives: The room fit our needs. The free breakfast was great, our kids loved the hot chocolate in lobby. Would stay again!
