Beautiful building with ample parking. We did not use the valet, but the bellman was prompt with the luggage and greeted us on arrival. The room staff was courteous, helpful and positioned at islands vs the conventional barrier counter. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom superb with upscale shampoo, etc. A world class steak house is nearby which serves prime beef.

Positives: Beautiful design. Superb rooms with comfortable beds. Fine bathroom. First rate restaurant nearby.

Negatives: Can think of nothing.

This hotel was very beautiful, in all ways. But the little things were not up to par. The room smelled horribly of mold. The temperature outside was 100 degrees at 9pm and the air conditioning was not on in our room. For a hotel of this star level, I would not expect such a stinky and swelteringly hot room.

Positives: The lobby was beautiful.

Negatives: Our room smelled like mold.

Upscale and well maintained. Nice rooms, beds were comfortable enough.

Positives: Needed temporary accommodations on short notice. Hotel was close to my AM destination.

Negatives: Maid service did not arrive at room until 3:30 pm. I was in the room at that time and did not want to be disturbed so I asked for towels only.

The staff has always been friendly and accommodated any personal requests. The rooms are clean as well as the rest of the hotel including the workout room. We like the inviting atmosphere of the lobby with its water areas as well as the conversation areas set around the lobby. The cleaning staff has always been friendly and efficient. We love the location with it's easy access to several different shopping stores and restaurants.

Positives: It is efficient, friendly, clean and has accommodated any personal request I have made. The lobby area is very relaxing and inviting.

Negatives: Can't think of any disappointing experiences we have had with this hotel.

Wonderful hotel, great service for the most part.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: Front desk person chatted forever with customers in front of us; annoying.

They need to put security cameras in the parking areas. The hotel staff all knew that there were no cameras and it was the first thing anyone told me that worked there. "There is nothing we can do because there are no cameras" the police will not even come take a report. The staff should not know there is no security, and should not share that info with guests. It sounds like a small crime ring and with the abundance of valet, and bag boys in the lobby they should be a little more worried about the customers belongings unless they are all in it together.

Positives: Clean, very nice bathroom product, i.e soap shampoo etc..

Negatives: Security of the parking lot. Several cars were broken into including mine taking golf clubs valued at near $2k

This was a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous lobby. The rooms were nice but not quite as outstanding as I had imagined.

Positives: The beds were good.

Negatives: It seemed to cater to business travelers.

Negatives: Parking.

I can't believe this hotel has double beds instead of queens in the rooms. We also had 1 set of towels in our room. We had to call both days and ask for more. We stayed 2 nights and the first night I didn't get to sleep until after 1am do to the noise coming from down stairs. It's a big enough hotel that they should move the bar away from the rooms.

Positives: It is beautiful.

Negatives: The noise that comes from the bar.

I've stayed at the Renaissance 4years ago and had a great experience. This time it was VERY lacking. They turned the air conditioning off and we couldn't even operate it in our room. We had to sleep with our balcony door open for two nights just to keep from burning up. At check in, we asked to extend our stay an additional night for the same rate. They said it would not be a problem. The day of our extended stay, they left a message in our room that the cost would be an additional $30. We were out and didn't get the message until we came back to the room at 11pm which was too late to do anything if we didn't want to accept the higher rate. When my husband complained, they refused to honor our original rate.

Positives: Indoor pool.

Negatives: They turned the AC off in the hotel rooms.

I wouldn't at all be ashamed or hesitate to anyone at any giving time and recommend they stay in this hotel, wished I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the indoor pool, workout room, and enjoyed the hotels relaxing feeling.

Positives: Personnel was clean (uniformed), very courteous, polite, & helpful, hotel itself, very sophisticated, clean, well kept up.

Negatives: Can't really say anything bad about the Hotel.

Very nice, clean atmosphere with friendly and helpful employees. Very nice! We would stay there again, away from the freeway.

Positives: It has an outstanding convention center.

Negatives: Freeway noise, we were on the 7th floor next to the freeway .

I appreciated the eagerness, the next morning to help us move rooms to their sincerity.

Positives: There was a problem with the AC unit in my room and they were very willing/helpful in the morning to transfer rooms.

Negatives: The first night was uncomfortable due to the maintenance of the room.

Upscale hotel with comfortable room. Staff was pleasant and stay was enjoyable.

Positives: Great location, comfortable, pleasant staff.

Negatives: Design of hotel allows high noise level during peak hours.

We were fortunate to get this hotel for a super rate. My husband had a night meeting there and it would have been inconvenient for me to be at someplace else, but we were not up for full room rates. I calculated that it was the only 3.5 star hotel in the area, so decided that I'd bid and had nothing to lose.

Positives: The room was very well appointed and pleasant although it had two beds.

Negatives: There wasn't really good space to put the suitcase.

It was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. It was also located very convenient to a main street, close to the Zoo and the Aquarium. The only disappointment I have is that they charge $14 a day for wireless internet. For that reason alone I wouldn't stay there again by choice.

Positives: It looked like a luxury hotel.

Negatives: The only disappointment was the $14 a day wireless internet. Even 2 star hotels have free WiFi.

A very nice hotel for the money we paid. We were greeted with champ. and strawberries in our room which we did not order. We let them know, but they never picked them up. We ate the strawberries and left the champ. Bedding was nice. Comfortable, I'd stay there any day.

Positives: It was easy to get to, clean, updated.

Negatives: The beds were double not queen.

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel itself is very pretty, nice comfy beds, large and pretty lobby area, nice restaurant, and has great service.

Positives: It is a gorgeous, clean hotel with excellent service.

Negatives: Having to check out.

The hotel was very pretty and cozy. Great location near restaurants and shopping. My only complaint would be there wasn't a coffee (type) shop inside the hotel where we could grab a meal and not get dressed up for the fancy (looking) dining room. There was room service but a little pricey and we didn't want to go back out to a local fast food or cafe.

Positives: Beautiful lobby & rooms.

Negatives: No coffee shop for quick inexpensive meal.

I would def stay there again. Close to lots of good restaurants and close to the freeway.

Positives: I like the gym area, Sauna.

Negatives: The hot tub was small compared to the pool and Sauna.

I enjoyed my stay very much and I would stay there again. It was very conveniently located for shopping. It was also very safe.

Positives: The rooms were very attractive with nice beds and the lobby was very luxurious.

Negatives: Breakfast buffet was kind of expensive.

I was impressed. The only flaw were the pillows. At first I thought my girls had eaten pizza on the beds. But it was clear they ate at the table. When I turned down the bed, I saw 3 pillows with food smeared on them and thoroughly checked the bed. Even though the linens looked and smelled clean, it was difficult to relax and rest well after seeing the soiled pillows.

Positives: Friendly competent staff.

Negatives: Housekeeping did not remove 3 pillowcases smeared with food...put them back on the bed

Excellent location, beautiful property. Very pleasant stay. Would return.

Positives: The location was perfect. Close to the hospital where I had a very early appointment scheduled.

Negatives: Room right at elevator. The dinging was annoying.
