Happy with the experience, but would have been happier if the price were less. For the money, I wanted more.
Positives: It was a nice, cheap (though not cheap enough, in my opinion) place to stop for the night. Not a luxury hotel, but not dirty.
Negatives: The rooms were poorly designed and felt like no one said, "no," to a single addition.

As there are not many choices in Oxford I would say it is ok. They did not have HBO, the hot tub was out of service and empty, the pool had many more rules than other hotel pools and the refrigerator did not cool. Continental breakfast by 9:00 was out of mostly everything on the weekend. Staff was friendly, room was clean.
Positives: Clean, staff friendly.
Negatives: HBO, hot tub, refrigerator didn't have.

I expected a more modern facility, but in reality, it's a motel with interior corridors. The front desk employee was not able to give us directions to the property even though it turned out the motel was on the one, main road in this very small town.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Old, low end appearance, minimal amenities.

We were looking for a clean place to stay and this fit the bill nicely.
Positives: Clean convenient good for what we wanted.
Negatives: Everything was fine but the bed was a little uncomfortable but not a big problem.

Negatives: Vending machines on ground floor only.

The hotel was OK. I felt much more comfortable at the Hampton due to the bedding, amenities, and changing breakfasts. If I could have cancelled my reservation with the Baymont I would have.
Positives: Friendly staff, good cable and nice outside.
Negatives: Old beds and bedding, halls smelled, no lotion given in room and hot tub was not working.

I will stay here again. The amenities far out weight the fact it is not in Oxford.
Positives: Staff, breakfast, pool, mini-refrigerator & microwave.
Negatives: Outside of Oxford.

The hotel was nice. I'm sure the price was a reflection of the location, near a university. I probably would not stay there again if the price was the same.
Positives: It had the basic needs.
Negatives: It was OK. Nothing was exceptional. I felt the price was too much for the room.

If you would like to pay a moderately high price for a bare bones hotel with uncomfortable beds and few amenities, this is the place for you. So, when in oxford, oh, try something else (although management has recently changed hands).
Positives: Not a whole lot. Convenient to major highway and the university.
Negatives: Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The woman who checked us in was confused.

It was a nice place and after I complained about the first room we were in, they accommodated us and put us in a nice room. The second room was what I expected. The first room was not good. Small bed, and everything cut down to accommodate someone in wheel chair. I should have complained the first night but didn't.
Positives: It was clean and quiet and personnel ended up being helpful after I complained.
Negatives: 2nd night room was great after I complained about the first night. They put us in handicap room with small bed and bare minimum amenities.

In a college town, I expected the worst. The Amerihost was a pleasant surprise.
Positives: Clean & neat with comfortable surroundings.
Negatives: Room had a slight moisture odor.
