The Buckley House Restaurant ( Dining / Other ). Located at 332 Front Street. Originally built in 1879 as a private residence, the house is listed on the Ohio Historic Register. Before it opened as a restaurant in 2008, The Buckley House served as a bed and breakfast for more than 14 years. The Busy Bee Restaurant ( / Breakfast / Brunch ). Located at 226 Gilman Avenue. We focus on farm-to-table fare, utilizing local meats/eggs and produce (when in season). We also partner with other small businesses for items such as breads, pickles, and maple syrup.

The city of Marietta, located at the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers, is the first permanent organized settlement in the Northwest Territory. After much deliberation, its name was chosen in honor of Marie Antoinette for France’s support of the colonies during the Revolutionary War.
