I believe the hotel deserves the 3 1/2 star rating, the lobby is very nice and is decorated nicely.

Positives: Lobby was nice, Staff at front desk was very friendly and nice.

Negatives: The bathtub in room had moldy caulk and a used bar of soap.

Staff was friendly and then moved us to non-smoking room. The second room was not very clean with trash on the floor and "Cheeto" in the bed. We later saw maid in the hall eating Cheetos. Floor was not vacuumed from previous stay.

Positives: Rooms were large and bed was comfortable.

Negatives: Put us in smoking room with 2 beds not honoring request for the opposite.

Excellent property - kept in nice shape. The only thing I would suggest is to further remodel the common area where the couches and TV reside. That big wooden cabinet would be better if there were several smaller screens tuned to different channels, (e.g., business, weather, networks, hotel info, etc.)

Negatives: Pool closed too early - 10:00 PM.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and I enjoyed my stay.

Positives: Very clean and upscale hotel, love pool area and hours of operation.

Negatives: I am a smoker and this was my second visit and didn't have choice of smoking room.

Have stayed twice. Was disappointed this time...paid more money second time for a cheaper room no flat screen TV, fridge, or microwave like first time. Also, there were no electric outlets near the hotel room desk...very difficult to use technology.

Positives: Loved the cookies what a great perk!

Negatives: Outside doors were supposed to be locked at 8:00, so you would need room key to get in. Doors were still unlocked at 10:00 both nights I stayed.

We were on the 5th floor - executive. The toilet was not cleaned and tables not cleaned. They sent someone up and cleaned the toilet within a few minutes. Walls may be a little thin, could easily hear tv of neighbors and voices. The rooms were very handsome with nice comfy sofa. Free wifi for our iPad and laptop...that was very nice! Nice whirlpool and workout room, used both. The cookies were delicious and was given more whenever I asked.

Positives: Free wifi was very much appreciated.

Negatives: Could smell cigarette smoke, could hear neighbors.

The hotel looked upscale and had better than average decor. Bed linens were tasteful. Bathtub/shower needed more user-friendly plumbing. Staff was helpful when I needed assistance.

Most quality hotels today provide clean and safe rooms, so making a decision of where to stay is based on how I feel I was treated. Your hotel made me feel safe and important. This was my first experience with DoubleTree and I am happy to say, it was a pleasure. Thank you to the lady at the front desk on April 18, 2011 at about 8 pm she represented your company very well and influenced my future decisions of where to stay.

Positives: I had forgotten an important bag and the front desk person was wonderful, welcoming and helpful.

Overall, a great experience except we couldn't use the indoor spa- would certainly stay again, suggest adults only after 9PM for pool area.

Overall, I was pleased. However my last night at the hotel there was a sports team staying on my floor. They had moved a table out of one of the rooms into the hallway and had been drinking and playing poker in the middle of the hallway. There was running and shouting until about 1:00 AM, even after I made two calls to the front desk. I expected more from a hotel like the Doubletree in dealing with a group disturbing other guests.

Positives: Met my expectations, other than one night.

Negatives: Unruly group on my floor.

This was a very decent hotel. The lobby was clean and open. I would recommend for business travel. The restaurant is tasty, but the service was not good and the prices were high. There was a Bob Evans Restaurant nearby. The neighborhood seemed safe and nice- a rare thing in Cleveland. We ended up with double beds with no option to change- there went the romance! Other than that, it was good. Breakfast is not included and is costly.

Positives: It was safe and clean.

Negatives: We ended up with double beds, not king, and the restaurant staff was lacking.

I was able to book this hotel for $50.00 (before taxes and fees). This was an incredible deal for a large room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the desk provided adequate workspace (I'm left handed, and the desk was set up for right handed people). I did not use any of the amenities, but everything appeared to be well maintained.

Positives: Close to Interstate, plenty of dining choices nearby, close enough to airport for convenience, but far enough away to not hear the planes.

Negatives: Nothing.

Overall, we were pleased enough with this hotel to stay there twice on our trip. The staff was friendly. The accommodations were nicer than I expected. There were only a couple things we disliked.

The rooms had a Victorian feel to them. The hotel itself was in a very old building that had been restored. The fitness center was very nice. The rooms were nice and bedding very comfortable.

This is good for the business traveler. The room was clean and updated. However, if you eat at Shula's and charge it to your room you will be charged $3.50 for this service. This is out of line and not necessary. This hidden charge was not listed on the menu or mention by the servers. Also, the food was marginal at best, actually poor. I would recommend getting in you car and driving across the street to the Outback or Bone-fish Grill for your meals.

Overall, we enjoyed our honeymoon stay and would gladly return again. The room was attractive and inviting. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. Our room was kept clean per the hotel's ploicy and we felt safe and confortable. Thanks DoubleTree Hilton!

There were dozens and dozens of sports teams booked for a tournament of some kind, which is fine, but the hotel staff did not keep the hallways and public areas cleared or quiet. It was a zoo with doors slamming, people yelling, and publicly drinking in the halls. We called security four times and did not get to sleep until 3 am or so with a long drive the next day.

Positives: Upscale and well kept.

Negatives: Sports teams were running around wildly into the night in all public areas.

Called and complained about kids screaming in hallways. Waited until 10pm to call and it last until 2AM. Never heard security in the hallway. The Manager should have come and handled the situations. I would never recommend this hotel.

Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. The hotel was quiet. The hotel was a little hidden among a cluster of other hotels. The lobby was clean and inviting. The decor was nice. Loved the flat screen TV in the room. The bathroom was nice except no electrical venting for humidity caused by shower. Therefore, the mirror fogged over. The bathroom decor was nice even though the area was a bit small for my personal liking. I would definitely stay there again.

Positives: The landscape, building and pool area was pleasing to the eye.

Negatives: The hallway carpet and base boards seemed to need replacing.

Of course, I love the cookie and their bathrobes are plush and roomy (even for a plus-size). My bathroom didn't seem to get the attention it deserved. There was a piece of a tag off of new clothing on the floor, a couple of hairs in the shower and no shower cap. I did get room service in the morning. It was extremely fast and they remembered all my specifics. They didn't bring a glass of water with it though. At other hotels I've always gotten a glass of ice water with my meal. Overall, still love the Doubletree.
