The city school district is one of the largest in Ohio, with Fairfield High School graduating 842 students in June 2009. Fairfield is home to world known, Jungle Jims and also Cincinnati Mall. On December 28, 1994, the city withdrew from Fairfield Township. The area is heavily Republican, McCain took over 70% of the vote in 2008.
