Good breakfast, nice room, did not have attention to detail, nice furniture, hated-no security and not being able to sleep more than 3 hours each night for three nights went across the street Residence Inn, very pleasant experience they even put our groceries in a refrigerator early before our check-in to help us when we fled from the Hilton Garden Inn, staff at Hilton was very nice, but when I called the desk and complained after two nights they said all they could do is call the party, they booked a wedding party next to me two nights in a row and the last night it was a hip-hop party with rocking music all night.
Positives: Good breakfast.
Negatives: No security.

The hotel was nice and very comfortable. It did not seem to warrant a 3 1/2 star rating though. It was clean and quiet.
Positives: It was a good location for us.
Negatives: The rooms just seemed like any other room, nothing special.

The lobby is beautiful with helpful staff. Exercise equipment is high quality and the pool temperature felt warm. Room was cozy and pretty with a great bed and good temperature control.
Positives: Cozy, pretty room, good exercise room, pretty lobby.
Negatives: Our coffee carafe had dried pieces of tea in it, TV contrast needed adjusting.

Upon check in no staff she was outside the door smoking. Son has asthma. When she came in she smelt like smoke. Not good! Pool and hot tub not working. Lobby cold. Did not want to stay there! Plus 1st room had hair in tub. No thanks. Not a pleasant time!
Positives: The breakfast was nice.
Negatives: Pool and hot tub not working. Staff was smoking. Cold in lobby.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Very nice, but not great construction. Last time I could hear the people in room above me walking (or running little children I guess) throughout the night. This time, I asked for a top (4th) floor room. Worked out just great!
Positives: Very accommodating (gave me non smoking room on top floor).
Negatives: Unfortunately, there is not a complementary breakfast.

This is a great facility. Clean. Would enjoy a return visit, but would try to get a top floor. Could hear people walking in the room above me.
Positives: Very pleasant, attractive, high quality.
Negatives: Could hear folks in the room above me walking around all night.

Excellent accommodations and public area. Quiet and relaxing with good restaurants near by.
Positives: Great public area and entrance way meeting area.
Negatives: Parking lot could be lighted better. Parking is remote from the entrance. Too many handicap spaces in key parking area.

My wife is ill and requires several visits a year to the Dublin Arthur James cancer hospital. We like to stay when we can overnight after her treatments but had been unable to find a place close enough and at a fair price to do this. When we stayed there everything went very smooth, the desk clerks were very nice, and even was able to give us directions that were exactly right. What can I say when things are done right keep doing them. We look forward to staying with you again.
Positives: It was very clean, the management was very helpful, and the food was very good.
Negatives: In room movie prices were somewhat steep.

My overall experience at this hotel was positive. The quality of the property met my expectations. I would give a high rating for the comfort, decor and facilities. The staff was very helpful when I checked in. I arrived early and they were able to accommodate me. I requested a non-smoking room; however, the room I was given smelled of stale smoke. They promptly provided me with another room. However, I was extremely frustrated when I went to check out. I had an early morning flight and needed to leave the hotel around 4:15 am. No one was at the front desk when I went to check out. No one answered the phone when I called. The lobby was open with no one present. Anyone could have come in the hotel. I not only wasted valuable time trying to find someone, but I became quite concerned about matters of safety. Had any guest had an emergency and attempted to contact the front desk, no one would have been present to assist them, not to mention the lack of security at the main entrance of the hotel. I hope this is not a policy to allow employees to leave the front desk unattended.
Positives: The lobby was very clean and inviting. My room was quite comfortable, especially with a refrigerator and microwave.
Negatives: I had an early morning flight. When I went to check out, no one was at the front desk, nor did anyone answer the phone. I wasted valuable time.

This hotel was poorly constructed. The bathroom sink leaked, the internet service was down for both days of our stay, and the hot water heater broke leaving us unable to shower before a very important meeting. I would never stay at this hotel again, regardless of the excellent location for everything we needed to do in Columbus.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Internet didn't work. Hot water ran out. Bathroom sink sprung a leak.

Negatives: Spa was broken, pillow were too soft.

The hotel was clean and fine. But upon leaving we asked for a statement. We were billed an additional $35.00 by the hotel on our credit card! No explanation! Very Disappointing! Will never stay there again.
Positives: It was clean.
Negatives: An additional $35.00 charge on credit card. No explanation.

The Hilton Garden Inn was very nice. It is in a great location, close to restaurants, stores, etc. The check in girl was so nice (Kelly) and welcomed me with a smile. I also liked the fact that it is a freestanding hotel and you don't have to pay to park like you do at some hotels. Very positive experience for us.
Positives: We requested a king bed/NS and the room was huge-almost suite size!
Negatives: They had me present a cr. card for incidentals so I used my Visa debit card and I checked my acct and they still have a hold of $50.00 on it.

Check in desk was very friendly. Had a small problem with room which was corrected immediately. Location was excellent and room was very nice.
Positives: Friendly front desk, willing to help with my desired location of a room.
Negatives: The sign at the entrance was too small. Hard to see at night.
