The parking on site very expensive. Parked across the street for 8 dollars. No insulation at all. the noise from the street all night long very loud. The hotel is old it shows. But the location is fine. They are trying to make it upscale, but its not. There needs to be something done about the noise. This is my second time staying there and it will be my last.

Positives: Crisp clean sheets.

Negatives: Noise level horrid Couldn't sleep, TV of crappy quality.

The Millennium is an oft-forgotten gem as a high quality hotel in the midst of downtown Cincinnati. All public facilities and our guest room were very clean, and up to date. The staff, other than the valet parking captain was extremely friendly, and helpful. Valet parking was imposed on us as soon as we pulled into the hotel entrance driveway. I'll definitely stay at the Millennium Cincinnati again in the future.
Positives: Great location, and access to all Downtown Cincinnati sports, business, and entertainment venues.

Negatives: We weren't given a choice in terms of parking; the bell captain offered no parking options, slapped a valet ticket into my hand, away went our car.

The Millennium is a fine hotel and located ideally in the center of town. The beds were amazing and room and bath were very clean but the fixtures, carpet, tub and sink could use updating. The television was the most annoying part of the trip. Very difficult to find channels, no on screen menus, poor quality reception and based on regular cost of room (although we got a discounted room)there should have been at least a premium movie channel or something. Poor selection. Also valet was way too expensive.

Positives: The Beds were great.

Negatives: The television and channel selection was poor.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 12 Sep 2011 rated 5 out of 10.

Could be very nice with better upkeep, cleaning, and overall care about the guest rooms.

Positives: Location and contemporary styling.

Negatives: Ashes on bed stand, Loose bathroom fixtures, Hair on bathroom floor.

The location was great! Less than two blocks from Fountain Square with a lot of shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Positives: It was in a very convenient location.

Negatives: The room was REALLY small.

Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 04 Sep 2011 rated 10 out of 10.

Very clean & staff was helpful. The room was just a little out dated, but was still nice. Very roomy with comfortable bed. Felt safe & secure!

Positives: Great price for such an expensive hotel!

Negatives: Our view was of another building, not the city.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 25 Aug 2011 rated 7 out of 10.

The room was nice, but the front desk staff was very slow.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: $22 valet parking.

The only reason i reserved this hotel was because i was passing through Cincinati and wanted to attend a baseball game. I puposely pricelined a downtown hotel so that i could be close to the stadium and have a place to park when i arrived so as to not have to deal with game traffic and parking. I had some delays in travel and arrived @ 30 minutes before game time. Upon pulling into the hotel valet line i was imediantly told to pull out and leave as there were no parking spots left inside or out. Not being from the area i had no idea where to go. After all of the obstacles of having to find public game parking i wished to avoid and being late to the game, i arrived at the hotel and asked why the possibility of having no parking available wasn't made more clear by the hotels web site, or for that matter priceline, and i was informed that 'when you have 800 rooms and only 300 spots somebody isn't going to have somewhere to park. I'm not a business traveler but i do travel for pleasure several times a year. I've used priceline on numerous occasions to book rooms in downtown areas and have never experienced this before and quite frankly was completly ignorant to the fact that this was even a possibility. The fact that a traveler can be coming from any arbitrary distance to a city they are more than likely unfamiliar with and not be assured a parking space at a '4 star' hotel seems absolutly rediculous to me. If this is something common to the hotel business it would seem to me reasonable that somewhere either on the hotel website or priceline site should have a dis-claimer stating that parking is on a first come first serve basis, and therefor not garunteed. I saw nothing like this on either site before or after the trip. The experience was so unpleasant i will never stay at a Millenium hotel again, and with all the discount travel websites i'm not sure i feel comfortable using priceline anymore as well.

Positives: nothing

Negatives: no parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great price, and location.

Positives: Great price and great location.

Negatives: The valet parking was full, so I had to park a couple of blocks away. Usually get a double, but got a Queen. One of us had to sleep on the floor.

There are minor maintenance issues on the floors and rooms, but overall deserves a 3 star rating.

Positives: Central location and easily accessible to interstates.

Negatives: Slow check in process, front desk clerks not concerned with good customer service, room cleanliness, floor ice machines not working.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 28 Jul 2011 rated 9 out of 10.

Elevators responded promptly every time, the evening of a Red's evening baseball game. We had instant hot water on the 20th floor and plenty of it. We enjoyed the pool -- and our room overlooked the pool. The TV's are old, yes, but I don't go to a hotel to watch TV. No refrigerator, so you can't bring snacks/lunch that needs to stay cool. We paid the $22 for valet parking, but for the price paid for the room it still was cheaper than a value motel farther away. Food at the Bistro was superb. I had scallops in a fantastic cream sauce with penne pasta. Huge portion - could have shared it, and fair price. The cucumber wrapped mixed green salad was upscale.

Positives: It was very quiet and our room was at the end of the hall so we didn't have hallway traffic.

Negatives: Check-in was much too slow. No one should stand in line for 15 minutes to check-in.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 26 Jul 2011 rated 7 out of 10.

We were happy with the location of the hotel for the Reds game. The room was old and outdated although it did seem clean. The sheet was just laid over the bed and not a fitted sheet. Valet parking was full when we arrived but there is a lot that joins the hotel for $16/night which is still high, but cheaper and more convenient than valet. We would not pay full price for this hotel.

Positives: Location was perfect for the Reds game, hotel easy to get to. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Negatives: The rooms were very outdated and old. The sheet was just laid over the bed and not a fitted sheet.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 22 Jul 2011 rated 5 out of 10.

The staff was friendly. The hotel was dated and needed some cosmetic work. The hotel is more of a college age party place. The bathroom in our room had a drain problem in the tub and the pool area was dated.

Positives: The location.

Negatives: It took 45 minutes to check-in, and the hotel was dated.

I have stayed here numerous times and have really had no complaints.

Positives: Very comfortable beds, and friendly staff.

Negatives: Expensive parking & restaurant.

We had to park somewhere else, because valet parking was full- nothing like lugging around a stroller, toddler, and luggage after paying $15 to park down the street for 24 hours! King room was the size of a shoe box. Room needs updated. Bathroom had mildew and mold in the grout. Stains on the chair and linens! TV was old and reception was like old Antenna style! Not worth it! Going back to Embassy Suites!

Positives: Downtown.

Negatives: Everything!

We have stayed at the Millennium several times when in Cincinnati for Reds games. I think the hotel could use some updates, such as TV, but it is fine for our purpose. This hotel is not fancy but the location is great and much more affordable than some of the other downtown hotels.

Positives: Short walk to Great American Ballpark.

Negatives: Need to update TV's to flat screen and reception was poor.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 14 Jun 2011 rated 7 out of 10.

Although this hotel is rated 3.5 stars, I would only give it 3 stars. The decor was quite nice but the room was unusually small. I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency across the street (also on Priceline and for a lower price) and enjoyed that hotel much more.

Positives: Location is superb: right downright and near Fountain Square.

Negatives: The room was very small.

Overall, it was a nice hotel, helpful staff and great location.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Bathroom in room wasn't as clean as I thought it should be.

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 30 Nov 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

Hotel room only had one light/lamp when we arrived. They brought an additional table lamp after we arrived. bellman said that there should have been another one there also. Remote control for the TV did not work but after a call to the front desk they brought another that worked. Watching windscreen format TV on a tube TV seemed odd.

Positives: Location

Negatives: Moldy French toast on $14.99 Buffet Breakfast. A whole tray. No discount on breakfast!

Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 30 Nov 2010 rated 2 out of 10.

Parking was only available with valet and was quit expensive. Every staff member had a hand out for a tip. It was quit annoying. Not even complimentary coffee. Really how sad.

Positives: Location to events.

Negatives: Room size, expensive parking & room service.

Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 18 Nov 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

The room was tiny, the bathroom tinier, no refridgerator, and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The location was great, and it was clean. I just didn't meet my expectations.

The hotel was not high quality and I am glad the rate I paid was all I paid. The rooms were small and there was still a tube style
TV in the room. Most hotels have flat screens now. The bathroom was extremely small as well. I expected more from a hotel that is located downtown.

Positives: They switched our room from double beds to one King size.

Negatives: The hotel was not high quality, and I am glad the rate I paid was all I paid. 119/ night is not sensible for this hotel.

This hotel should definitely only be 2 stars or less. The rooms were definitely not up to par. They were small with lots of stains on everything.

Positives: Nothing

Negatives: Small, dirty rooms.

This hotel room was a tremendous disappointment, and in no way lived up to its star rating. The floors in the lobby were dirty and looked as though they had not been vacuumed in days.

Positives: The woman working the check-in counter was tremendously helpful.

Negatives: The hotel was terribly old and dirty..

Positives: Outdoor pool.

The location is ok but the customer service was not good. We requested a couple things from the front desk that were never delivered and also had to leave messages for room service and our requests were not delivered to the room. It was extremely hard to get someone from the front desk on the line especially when we wanted to request a late check out.

Positives: The location.

Negatives: Customer service was terrible.

I would stay again, but was too confusing getting in & out of hotel off the street.

Positives: Very clean & rooms were very spacious,

Negatives: You had to use valet parking & cars were backed up in the St. We had to park in city parking lot & paid $15.

We were excited to stay at this hotel, but it was a let down. It start with the parking at the hotel was full and the bellmen didn't even offer to help unpack our bags, he told us to go down the road to another parking garage. Not helpful. Next the front desk man wasn't that pleasant. When we get to our room, it was a corner room that was really small. The bed honestly looked like a motel 8 bed. With the plaid bedspread and with no support. The pillows were so flat I stuffed a towel in my pillowcase to get support. This hotel needs to update their beds, the linens and pillows. The bathroom was fine. Everything seem to be clean. We didn't sleep well at all.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: Hated the bed, was not comfortable and the pillows were flat.

This hotel is a comfortable and nice hotel and is well worth the stay. However, do not buy the television Internet service.

Room was attractive, but slightly run-down. Nice bedding. Caulk and grout in bathroom was grungy. Water pressure for shower was so weak I could barely rinse off. And for all that, the drain plug was completely removed so that water would drain. I'd just completely redo the bath. For the business traveler, they should have offered free WiFi.

Positives: Friendly staff.

Negatives: Water pressure very low, high cost for WiFi, room attractive but slightly shabby.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 04 Jun 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

I would not pay full price for this hotel. But it is a good bargain. Realize that you will be charged for parking $20.00 and WiFi access from room $10.00. Also, breakfast is not included. All of the 3 and 4 star hotels charge for Internet access. The 2 and 3 star hotels do not.

Positives: Comfort of beds, and quality of room. Bath tub quite large.

Negatives: Memorial Day Rock Concert lasted until 1130 pm which occurred adjacent to hotel. We felt every beat of the rhythm section.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 04 Jun 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

I have stayed at the Millennium many times on our weekend getaways to Cindy. Desk staff has always been very helpful, even when the hotel is sold out. Wi-Fi service should be free. $7.95 a day is a bit much.

Positives: Convenient to all downtown activities.

Negatives: Valet parking too expensive.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 24 May 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

The Millennium Hotel is a second-rate hotel that threw in a few pieces of granite tile and touches of architectural elegance in order to appear like a 3-4 star hotel. It is confusing, does not know what it is. The bathroom was small, the bed sheets smelled like mildew, and there was poor air circulation. The hotel was "OK", but aside from the pleasant staff, I have had similar experiences in a 1-2 star motel.

Positives: Location and the valet was knowledgeable of the area.

Negatives: The design of the rooms/hotel, color scheme, bathrooms, bed sheets smelled like mildew, bad air in room-smelled like socks.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 21 May 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

A good price for a downtown hotel. Parking is not included so adds to the final bill. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful.

Positives: Great location about 1 block from Fountain Square and close to stadiums.

Negatives: A bit down-at-the-heel. Needs updating and a good cleaning.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 12 May 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

For a last minute trip and the price we paid, the hotel was sufficient. The bathroom was too small. The location is perfect for anything downtown, we walked to the ballpark. I would stay there again without my kids.

Positives: The facility was fine for the price I paid.

Negatives: The room/bath were extremely small for the rating.

Bathroom was dirty, pillowcases were torn, housekeeping was very poor. TV didn't work, beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were shabby. Wouldn't stay here again. Parking charged $22 a day.

The hotel was definitely dated. The carpet was dirty and the bed was uncomfortable. When we turned on the television we were surprised to find we would have to pay for any channel, including network television ABC, NBC, FOX. There was also a charge of $7 if you wanted to use Wi-Fi. The hotel only had valet parking and they charged us $ 22 for one night. I would not stay again. I've stayed at 2 star hotels that are much more comfortable. There was also no continental breakfast.

I don't know how a 3.5 star rated hotel can only offer 2 double or 1 king bed. As a family traveling, I would rather have 2 queen beds to share instead of a full.

Positives: Price

Negatives: Clean facilities but run-down.

The hotel and rooms seem a bit tired but the staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to grab a tasty meal at the bar when we got in about 10pm.

Positives: Staff was very helpful and friendly!

Negatives: Hotel furnishings in room were drab, old looking.
