Very nice lobby with restaurant and room service. Room was supposed to be king sized bed and I'm sure it wasn't. Everything looked old in the room. I expected something better for a four star hotel room.
Positives: Friendly staff, clean rooms, and
Negatives: Rooms needs updating.

Would never stay at this hotel again, expensive not worth the price!
Positives: Lobby & room view.

Staff was excellent; location was great, but parking was expensive.
Positives: Downtown area convenient to restaurant, shops.
Negatives: Seemed dated.

Horrid rooms, bathroom door wouldn't shut because it seemed to large for door opening.

The air conditioning hardly worked, we sweated the whole night and the tv was from the early 90's. I wasn't on vacation for the TV but it would have been nice to have a decent TV since we were unable to sleep because it was so hot. We got our room at a 56% saving and I still feel I paid to much.
Positives: It was in a nice location, and good beds.
Negatives: The bathroom door wouldn't shut, very outdated.

Positives: Location great in downtown area and friendly staff.
Negatives: Limited self park. TVs need updated.

Overall, the hotel met our expectations. It was not as new as I expected. It was located in a very convenient location downtown, and the hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. For the price, I would definitely stay here again.
Positives: The staff was very friendly and the location was excellent. The room was large.
Negatives: The hotel room was a little dated and worn down.

This is a Hyatt Regency in name only! It may have been a good hotel at one time, but rooms are dated and border on threadbare.
Positives: Friendly and professional staff! Great reception/front desk service, excellent personalized wake-up call service with offer of a callback.
Negatives: Small rooms, poor air conditioning.

Positives: Hotel was clean staff was prompt and friendly with any request.
Negatives: Hotel restaurant is very expensive and it takes a while to get the elevator.

Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. However, they did not live up to the luxury I expect for 4 stars. Within walking distance of a number of interesting and reasonably-priced restaurants, delis, and pubs.
Positives: The pool was fantastic and the staff was exceptional.
Negatives: Additional charges, especially for television viewing, were exorbitant.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 15 Apr 2011 rated 8 out of 10.
Great location! Great Staff! Great Price! Terrible elevators! Took forever, would sometimes not even work. And our room was right beside one so I'll night you heard the bell.
Positives: The breakfast menu and layout of the the Hotel. Great because you can almost walk to anything you might need.
Negatives: Elevators...the National Quilt Convention was in town and the Elevators took forever. Our room was right outside of the elevators so you could hear it

Good value for a downtown hotel with an excellent location and friendly staff. Room was clean, bed was just so-so in comfort and room temperature wasn't real pleasant. Staying there in early April, perhaps the air wasn't on yet.
Positives: Location and friendly staff.
Negatives: Room temperature was never comfortable; too warm - didn't seem like air was on just fan.

Awesome location; easy to use skywalk to get around. Nice restaurant/bar on the premesis that is reasonably priced.
Positives: Employees were friendly; beautiful place!
Negatives: Hot tub too small - only holds 4-5.

Parking garage next to hotel with sky bridge to hotel and shops.
Positives: In room refrigerator.
Negatives: Something with a strong, not offensive, just very strong scent which bothered my allergies.

Overall, we where happy about the room. We bought the room. Ended up paying $70 for dinner, $45 for breakfast,(thought there was going to be a complimentary). $23 for valet. Grand total $138. will think of those extras the next time i travel.
Positives: Was able to get to room after 15 minutes from the time we entered.
Negatives: Food was way overpriced. Pool and hot tub was gross.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Hyatt. The room was comfortable, clean and fairly quiet. I think the biggest problem is in lack of parental training for inside "hotel" voices of children with respect to other guests. This would also include running in hallways.
Positives: With the connecting skywalks and ability to shop multiple stores without going outside was GREAT!
Negatives: Restaurants were expensive.
Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 13 Dec 2010 rated 7 out of 10.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient for the Kenwood area. And overall, the hotel is nice. They do have free wireless Internet connection for all guests, so that was a big plus.
Positives: Conveniently located in the city.
Negatives: Not a comfortable bed at all.

When we got there they were full, and we had to stay across the street.

Very nice hotel with beautiful room and pool. Liked the fitness center also. Was disappointed in the hallway noise, people yelling and laughing in the middle of the night. Also disappointed in having to pay $15 to park overnight. Comes with the location I guess.
Positives: Great location and nice room.
Negatives: The noise the the cost to park.

Please do not believe other reviews - this is in no way, shape, or form a 4-star hotel. It's really not even 3 stars! Dingy, dirty, musty-smelling room. It is also attracting a low class clientele, which leads to dogs barking and people yelling in hallways. The only saving graces were the cheap price and the staff very helpful. Would never stay there again, even at the $45 rate. Would have left if it weren't for the $45 rate. Read somewhere that new management took over recently - hopefully they can renovate and clean the place!
Positives: The low price.
Negatives: Dirty, old and

3.5 stars is a good rating. Great downtown location. $15 parking is reasonable compared to other hotels. Spacious, clean hotel. Friendly staff. I would recommend this location for romance, business or family travel.
Positives: The staff was outstanding! From the front desk personnel to housekeeping to valet - you name it - the Hyatt crew was great.
Negatives: The rooms at Embassy Suites Covington are much larger - not to mention an outstanding breakfast buffet (free).

This could have been a great experience except for the problems noted above. Nothing serious, but annoying.
Positives: The man at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and engaging.
Negatives: Minor problems: telephone not connected, clock not plugged it, desk needed repair, electrical outlet faulty.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay at the Hyatt. It is located Downtown and it was close to many stores.

Negatives: The hotel food was too expensive.

My wife and I were visiting our son on parent's weekend at the University of Cincinnati. The Hyatt is conveniently located just three miles from campus. For the price of a 3 star hotel, one can stay in downtown Cincinnati and not have to drive 15 to 20 miles for a decent hotel. To us the Hyatt was just a nice room in a big building. You can have all the fancy extras, as we didn't use them. Parking at 15 bucks a day is a little much. The room was clean and comfortable, maybe a bit on the small side. We would stay at the Hyatt again.
Positives: Easy check in and check out.
Negatives: TV

We probably won't be staying there again.
Positives: Friendly staff, within walking distance of Fountain Square.
Negatives: Having to pay $15.00 a night extra for parking - would have been more if had driven anywhere else.

Clean, nicely decorated rooms in a great hotel in a wonderful location. Friendly, helpful staff at the desk, terrific friendly servers in the restaurant. Better than average food for a hotel in a casual setting.
Positives: EXtremely friendly and helpful staff. Great view from the room.
Negatives: Room service breakfast a little skimpy for the price.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 10 Sep 2010 rated 5 out of 10.
As most other reviews state, the rooms in the hotel have a horrible odor to them. The elevators are painfully slow as well.
Positives: Downtown location.
Negatives: Rooms smell bad.

Positives: The valet parking was nice and adequate. They also were good about giving directions.
Negatives: The restaurants at the hotel were a bit pricey and no free breakfast.

The hotel offers a good downtown location, but has seen better days. The hallway carpet was stained and there was a bottle of hotel shampoo on the floor outside our room. The room was O.K., but the TV is an old style 27 inch rather than a flat screen. We had breakfast at the hotel and both the coffee cups and the silverware were dirty and had to be replaced.
Positives: The location.
Negatives: This hotel is in decline - they need to spend some money on updates and cleaning.

Nice downtown location within walking distance to Reds and Bengals games, other hotels and office buildings, Fountain Square, etc. Parking is a little difficult unless you don't mind paying a fair amount for valet parking or nearby lots. Good restaurant in the hotel, very comfortable beds.
Positives: Convenient location for any downtown activity, including Reds or Bengals games, nice restaurant in the hotel, comfortable beds.
Negatives: Would have been nice to have internet service complimentary instead of an extra charge.

Awful. I would never recommend anyone stay at the Hyatt in Cincinnati. Staff was rude, front desk staff actually argued with me concerning parking, young African-American woman. Room was dirty, found long black hair in the bath tub and candy wrappers behind curtains in room.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Room was dirty, found long black hair in bathtub as soon as we walked in.

Location was excellent, room great with wonderful soaps, the pool was really disappointing, could not see my hands in front of my face. Decking not clean. Lovely terrace off pool desk and bell service excellent, parking too expensive.
Positives: The bedding was excellent, products wonderful.
Negatives: Pool was way over chemical - smelled and murky.

Overall, this hotel fulfilled my needs (a place to sleep for the night) and at a very reasonable price (thanks Priceline!) However, had I paid the actual asking price for a room, or expected a 4 star hotel, I would have been sadly disappointed. The lobby and public areas are very modern and clean looking. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The room was pretty clean, but seemed to be in the middle of a renovation: new beds, new bathroom tile, really ancient TV, old bathroom fixtures and ceiling was old and moldy. You had to pay for internet and parking. No breakfast included.
Positives: Used sheets over down comfortors instead of bad unwashable ones.
Negatives: Payment for internet and parking.

I would highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I stayed two nights and went to the Reds game. It was perfect for what we wanted and needed.
Positives: Overall nice and all the employees that we came in to contact with were great.
Negatives: Parking fees.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 20 Apr 2010 rated 7 out of 10.
The room was comfortable, and we got what we were booked for. But the wear in the room (marred walls, iron marks on the carpeting, few cable channels, mold in my bathtub, really small bathroom. Makes you wonder if all the rooms are in this condition, or they just put the non full amount paying people in them. At a 4 star upscale resort you were just expecting it to be a little more. No breakfast or parking included makes it a little unreachable for most families!
Positives: There was always somebody ready to assist you.
Negatives: No public Internet access, no extras-charged for every incidental from parking to breakfast. Really small bathroom, no refrigerator or microwave.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 17 Mar 2010 rated 8 out of 10.
Staff was very friendly upon check-in. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. I did see a couple of toenail clippings on the carpet - gross. Everything else seemed clean. Parking was $15 for the night, but we were charged for each time we left and returned during day, so added up to $ 20-$ 25 per day. The sky walk leading from the garage to the hotel, was creepy at night. It was quite a walk and there were several leaks with puddles on the floor as it rained all weekend. One night while coming in from dinner we passed a man sleeping on the floor. While he just lifted his head and looked at us, it was uncomfortable and scary. When we reached the end we had to use our room key to enter the hotel, so the hotel was secure. Felt very vulnerable in a dimly lit sky walk while we were trying to get our key and access the hotel.

Positives: Conveniently located and
Negatives: Parking was expensive & skywalk leading to hotel was scary at night with man sleeping on the ground.
