Arturo's Fritz & Alfredo's ( Dining / Mexican ). Located at 3025 North Summit Street, Toledo, 2 miles from the center of Birmingham. Originally, Fritz & Alfredos was opened in 1992 by Al and Adele Mundt. The menu included many family recipes from Mexico & Germany. In 2003, the business was sold to Adeles brother, Arturo Cavazos and his wife Evelyn. Renovations were made to the inside and outside of the building, but the commitment to the freshness and quality of the food has always stayed the same. Arturo developed a new menu, maintaining many of the old favorites, while adding a few specialty dishes. To compliment the range of specialty dishes, Arturos offers a wide selection of flavored margaritas, along with a variety of Mexican and German beers & wines. Arturos Fritz & Alfredos still remains the only restaurant in the Toledo area to offer authentic German dishes. Our customers are always our number one priority, so we strive to provide the best Mexican & German food in town at a modest price, with fast, friendly service in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
