Larson is a former city in Burke County, North Dakota in the United States. Larson was founded in 1907. The city government dissolved in 2003. Both this town and nearby Columbus were named for an early postmaster that served the area. Even though it is now a community, it was designated census-designated place as part of the U. S. Census Bureau's Participant Statistical Areas Program on March 31, 2010. As a result, it is scheduled for inclusion in the 2010 Census.
