A gracious and comfortable B & B, offering six guest rooms, adorned with period antiques, family heirlooms and oriental rugs. Built in 1890, the James M. Howard house is located on Pollock Street in the heart of the downtown Historical district and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Howard House was tastefully restored to is original splendor in 1996 by the Wynns, to enable their guests to relax and escape to an elegant and romantic period of history with all the modern day conveniences.

Conveniently located within walking distance of specialty and antique shops, art galleries, a variety of wonderful restaurants, parks and marinas, and historic sites such as Tryon Palace and the Birthplace of Pepsi. We're one block from the river front and the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center.
