The Fairfield in is amazing! The staff exceptional! The rooms were clean and smelled good. Even the housekeeping staff were very nice and accommodating. I am a photographer and I traveled to Lumberton for business. I was transferred to this hotel (by priceline.com) from the Ramada Inn, Lumberton. After the 6+ hour drive and the less than 1 star service (the rooms over there reeked of cigarette smoke, dead bugs, nasty toilets, mold, stained and torn furniture, mattress debris, etc. If you don't believe me I got pix). I received at the Ramada, it was a welcome to just have a comfortable place to call home for the night. Thanks to the staff at the Fairfield. If I come to town again, no doubt where I will be staying.
Positives: All hotel staff was amazing. Comfortable bed and rooms clean.
Negatives: None.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They provided me with all the information and accommodations that I needed. I asked for a microwave and refrigerator in my room because I was staying for an extended time. They did accommodate me very quickly with a very friendly manner. The breakfast has a great selection and the breakfast attendant is helpful and professional. My experience in this hotel was excellent and beyond my expectations.
Positives: The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The rooms were very quiet.
Negatives: I would like to have a refrigerator and microwave in my room without asking. . Some of the lower priced hotels have them in every room.

Positives: It was very clean!
Negatives: Rooms could have been a little bigger.

Liked this hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was updated with granite counter tops. We got lost trying to find the hotel. Wish the hotel staff would have tried harder to help us find their location. That was frustrating but the hotel exceeded my expectations.
Positives: The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was updated and clean.
Negatives: We got lost trying to get to the hotel. I called to get help but they could not help me. Wish someone would have been able to give me directions.

This is a great hotel for a short stay while visiting family. I will stay here again in the future. It's convenient to I95, stores and restaurants. This has to be one of the better places to stay in South East NC.
Positives: The free breakfast.
Negatives: The small fitness center.

This hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was only one incident that puts a bad twist to our trip. My husband and I worked most of the day and then drove 9 1/2 hours to get to the hotel. It was midnight when we arrived and we were exhausted. The next morning when were checking out, we asked an employee that was leaning on the front counter, where the Cracker Barrel was because we were meeting someone there for breakfast. She looked at us like we were stupid and sarcastically replied, "It's next door." My husband replied to her, "Oh, okay, thanks. It was midnight when we got here and we didn't go looking for it." If someone is a guest at a hotel, I think it is a safe bet to say they are most likely from out of town.
Positives: The bed was very comfortable.
Negatives: We asked an employee where the Cracker Barrel was and she looked at us like we were stupid and sarcastically said next door.

I enjoyed the excellent complimentary breakfast buffet. The choices were pleasing to every taste preference. I enjoyed the complimentary internet access in a private room off the lobby area. The queen size bed was incredibly comfortable and I would like a bed like that in my own home. I very much enjoyed the location and proximity to the interstate access.
Positives: I liked the complimentary internet access to guests in privacy room.
Negatives: Nothing.

A good choice for an overnight stay for those traveling up or down the east coast on I-95. Very clean, pleasant accommodations and location is about the halfway point from Jacksonville, FL to Washington D.C.
Positives: Comfortable bed, nice breakfast buffet, complimentary newspaper for guests.
Negatives: Could use a little more outdoor landscaping and maybe some grassy areas.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The stay was better than I had anticipated. The complementary breakfast was good and the hotel was located next to a restaurant that was child friendly. I also felt safe traveling with my children without my husband.
Positives: Clean and friendly staff.
Negatives: Nothing.

It was comfortable and clean. The only real disappointment was that the pool was very small, and was never open during our stay. After traveling on the road on a very hot day and the kids looking forward to it all trip, it was very disappointing.
Positives: Very clean and comfortable.
Negatives: The pool was never open.

Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. The beds unexpectedly plush and comfortable. The hot breakfast exceeded expectations and the staff worked really hard to insure we were all well fed. This was our first experience with the Fairfield chain. We will definitely stay again.
Positives: The beds were wonderful.
Negatives: Lobby decor was too fussy.

This hotel is a great choice to stay for business. It is well worth the money. Rooms are very clean and smoke free, the hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more then just a donut. I believe this hotel should be 2.5 stars not just 2.
Positives: As always Marriott hotels are nice.
Negatives: I did not notice any thing wrong.

I had a wonderful stay, the beds were great, staff very helpful and friendly even to the point of remembering our room number when we came in and needed something. Breakfast very good, waffles delicious, and the times for breakfast very accommodating All things considered, I would rate this hotel an A+ and up there with the one in Denver, Phoenix and Sacramento.
Positives: The staff was very friendly and out of their way to be helpful.
Negatives: It took 2 days for the computer to be fixed.
